I have no audio when using chrome. I have audio when using Internet explorer and when playing from my pc. I have tried uninstalling chrome and flash player then reinstalling them. have tried FAQ on chromes site and Adobe's site. did not work.

Unless I'm missing something here. I don't think QuickTime is going to be of much help with that website. Even if you saved a file from the website to the hard drive, it would not be easy to get QT to play it

I keep saying this over and over, in the hope that people who do a search will find it. Apple cannot possibly test for or be reponsible for the bazillion combinations of adapter, cables, and TV's out there. The only monitors that are 100% guaranteed to work with the MacBook Pro are the Cinema Displays and Thunderbolt Displays, because, they're made by Apple. They're expensive, but they work perfectly.
My guess is that you bought a cheap MDP to HDMI cable, or have a defective one. From my reading of these boards over the past few months, cheap cables have a high failure rate. And the regular priced ones have only a slightly less of one. Try a new one. Make sure you do not damage the Thunderbolt port.

How do you turn off Flash audio when using captivate Nav bar?

I have an imported flash file that plays an audio track,
I have no problem turning the audio off, when the user uses
the button within the flash file to go to the next slide in the
captivate movie...

BUT if the user decides to use the navigation bar within the
captivate movie it all goes pair shape.. The flash audio continues
to play into the next slide. Anyone have a know how to solve this

within the flash file)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This totally solved my issue. I had a Captivate 4 movie using an embeded animation that had audio. It would play the audio again when the next slide appeared. I have to use Captivate 4, because my audience still uses Flash 7 (yikes). Is it synch video?
Is it music?
Is it Voice?

I think it depends on the size of the Flash Drive as to whether it uses FAT16 or FAT32.
Can you format it FAT32 on the PC?

I've used Chrome for a couple years, and all of a sudden the Dock and the Finder Menu bar are not accessible when using Chrome. They are present in every other app, as usual. Please help me to get the Finder Menu and Dock active when using Chrome. Thank you.

Chrome may somehow be set to run in full-screen mode. I don't use Chrome so can't check its settings options, but try hitting ESC when Chrome is doing this and see if you get the menubar and Dock to reappear.
