I have no problem connecting to the Internet but I cannot send or receive email on my iPod

I can connect to the Internet on my iPod and do all it is supposed to do but cannot send or receive email. This only happened 2 days ago. What might be the problem?

    Start with the first article to troubleshoot the issue of not getting mail on your iPad. When you get online using safari, check to see if you can log into webmail. Also keep in mind, depending on the account that mail sometimes might not come in if it is a POP account as it may have already been download elsewhere.

    Same here! Happened yesterday to me on New iPad and iPhone 4S. On iPad I managed to correct it by removing the account and activating it again as an Exchange account...I have mail and calendar OK!
    On the iPhone nothing seems to  work!
    Facts:
    1. everything worked perfectly for years!
    2. I have the 2-step authentication deactivated  on my google account so it cannot be this one.
    3. On desktop everything works just fine, on iPad everything is OK with Exchange account added (after Google removed support for Exchange account access I CAN ONLY HAVE ONE DEVICE with Google Exchange account, so doing the same on the iPhone does not work!)
    4. Tried to remove and add the account again - no results.
    5. Tried to remove and add as Google, as Exchange, as Other account - I get calendar but no mail!!!
    6. Tried to reboot between remove/add accounts - no results.
    7. Tried to ("reset settings") reset the device - no results.
    8. Tried to add as POP account and I it worked - I get mail but I do not need POP as I am using zounds of mail with labels and need to be working on an IMAP account
    9. To make things even more complicated...I have another account which works perfectly!!!!!
    Anyone out there having a clue?

    Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    I am trying to set up our Apple TV but we cannot activate Home Sharing. We keep getting error 2146893032. Please don't post the tutorial or troubleshooting guide. Been there already. We have also checked our virus software. Like another person who posed this question, obviously we are connected to the internet or we would not be able to post.     What are you doing to activate home sharing?  Is it enabled on iTunes?

    Where are you trying to connect from? Your profile shows IOS 6.0.1. If you are using an IOS device, you'd have a better chance of getting a good response if you posted on that forum.
    If you aren't using an IOS device, more information would be helpful.

    Did you mean an issue in Internet Explorer browser? All websites or a specific website?

    Not very helpful but I have the same issue. Plugging in and doing the update via. iTunes will probably work but I find that whole experience annoying (downloading apps not on the Mac, etc..)

    If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
    First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
    If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
    If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
    If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

    I understand that your Photosmart Premium is not able to connect to the internet.
    I would like to help.
    Sometimes simply turning the printer off then back on will clear the problem. 
    Chances are you have already done this.
    I would try setting a manual DNS.
    The following post by happytohelp01 has instructions to set the manual DNS.
    It describes a Photosmart 7510 but the steps should be very similar.
    Efax 7510 still won't work after turning off/on ePrint several times

    I don't know if you are still having the issue but if you are have you contacted your ISP? It sounds to me like it's more of a connectivity issue than a browser problem. I've dealt with similar things several times and in both cases it was something with the modem or an ISP setting.
    I'm also wondering if it could be a Wi-Fi issue. Can you log in to your router? (It varies by brand but you would go to a site such as http://192.168.10.1. That is for Trendnet. The information for yours should be in the documentation that came with it.)
    You should be able to get the router log in page to come up even if you can't connect to any websites. (Provided the network is set up correctly.)
    I also would double check your connection settings (if you're connecting over Wi-Fi) or your ethernet connection. (If you're connected directly to the modem and router.)
    Hopefully one of these suggestions will be helpful.

    We can join the network, but can not access the Internet. The password is correct. We have tried network assistant and diagnostics, restarting the laptops, re-joining the network. Our iPhone 4s also works all the time.
    Same location. Signal strength is good.

    Since I couldn't figure out a way to edit our original post, here's another potential clue.
    Our laptops, when in System Preferences>Network, say "WiFi has the self-assigned IP address of XXXXXXXXX and will not be able to connect to the Internet".
    Strangely, my six year old MBP running OS 10.6.8 accessed the Internet straight away, just by opening Safari to my home page. My wife's six month old MBP running OS 10.7.2 could not.
