I have one ID for iCloud and one for purchases. Not working
I have a mess. When I migrated from Mobile Me that Apple ID was assigned to iCloud, but I have more than 5,000 songs plus more than 300 apps on another Apple ID.

you can have this arrangement where iTunes match is set to the purchasing ID and iCloud is set to the other ID but it does not seem to work for me.
For example, how can I have iTunes match working with my purchasing Apple ID on my phone and at the same time be seeing my email, photo stream and contacts with my iCloud Apple ID on my phone at the same time?
Seems to me iTunes match does not work if your device is set to your purchasing ID and not your iCloud ID, and if it did work then you would not be able to see your email, photo stream and contacts from your iCloud Apple ID. Seems the Apple document is wrong.
It seems to me you can only have two IDs if you do hard wire synch and that iTunes match will not work except for the iCloud ID, which in my case only has 200 songs and not 5,000 songs.
Please help!!!!!
I now got it to work. There are two places to input IDs on IOS5 devices. One for cloud and the other for itunes store and itunes match.

Thank you I tried the reset again did not fix- I think I am down to calling Apple and paying for a tech - phone company says it is a software problem. I just updated to 8.1.3 - I thought the update might fix it.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

My iphone is not working, i was planning on getting the iphone 5s for christmas, but i do not have my phone backed up on itunes. On my screen are these blue lines across on my screen, and i cant see anthing and i do not know what to do. I want to back up my phone but i cant see my screen to back it up. I need help badly. You wouldn't need to see the screen to backup unless you have a passcode on the device. Is that the case? You should be able to plug the device into the computer with iTunes and just select backup now.

ICloud and Open Dialog boxes not working
I originally posted a question at Open Dialog boxes have disappeared without results. I have some more information now.
The problem: Open Dialog boxes do not work - they don't show up at all - for apps supported by iCloud. Apps that don't use iCloud work fine.
I've now figured out that the Open Dialog boxes will reappear if I uncheck Documents and Data in the iCloud preferences pane. If I recheck it, then the Open Dialogs for all synced apps stop working. I am unable to correlate when this behavior started to any particular event on my Mac (that is not to say there is not a correlation - I simply can't find one). I have done file permission repairs, deleted com plists and even reinstalled Mountain Lion 10.8.2, all with no change in the behavior. The results of checking/unchecking the Documents and Data box are instant. I can have an app like Preview open or closed, or restart the computer. It does not matter. Checked = no Open Dialog; Unchecked = get Open Dialog (without iCloud option of course).I appreciate all responses particularly from an "Official Adobe" human being!
Unfortunately, a significant amount of effort has been expended with no joy here.
I have done the following;
(1) examined every plug-in folder for duplicates - None found
(2) deleted the symlinks (aliases) Topaz created referencing their plug-ins in /Library/Application Support
(3) reinstalled the Topaz bundle - no change
(4) Spoke at length with Topaz support and have been assured that all of their plug-ins are CS6 compatible.
(5) Have had the same conversation with Nik regarding their 2 plug-ins - assured that they are compatible.
Frankly I'm stumped here. I've combed my system in everyway I can without any change in PS behavior - on Open it defaults to blank and "Save as" selects the wrong format.
Question for the experts. Would deleting PS completely and then reinstalling make a difference or am I now in uncharted territory and on my own?

I have a canon rebel T5i and all my functions not work, like black and white etc.
Haven't used the camera for about 5 weeks and now I'm on vacation and my functions don't work. First I thought it was just the black and white function but I have tried them all. I can take the picture but it doesn't save it. I saves all other pictures I take without using one of the functions. Please help
This is purely a guess (I have a different camera model and I don't use those functions... for I simply convert color images to black and white in post processing.)...
If the camera has been sitting for a while, the battery might be down. It may take several discharge/recharge cycles to bring it up to full power and performance. I have seen some odd behavior from my cameras at times when they sat for a long time, that seemed to be related to low battery charge (or to a loosened battery grip, which I use on all my cameras). A fresh battery and/or removing, cleaning the battery to camera and/or battery grip to camera contacts resolved the weird glitches. To clean the contacts, I recommend simply wiping them with a clean, lint free rag lightly dampened with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Pre-moistened computer monitor/keyboard wipes seem to work pretty well, too.

i have att u verse modem and it wi fi was not working. So i got net gear wi fi and connected to att modem . i connected my apple TV via Ethernet cable to att uverse modem . i did not want slow down my wi fi speed. My Apple phone is on Netgear wifi .Now airplay is not working .
Make sure that the Att Modem goes to the netgear router via ethernet cable. Then connect your Apple Tv with a ethernet cable to the back of the net gear router. Airplay wants it to both be connected to the same device, usually.

How did you try to use Acitivty Monitor?
Open Activity Monitor, choose "All processes" from the list, and sort processes by CPU usage. More likely than not, there will be task using up good bit of CPU.

Check For Purchases not working
I've been trying to use the "Check For Purchases" thing since last night and every hit enter, I get an error message saying, "The iTunes store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." I tried restarting my computer, iTunes, and my isp but nothing helps. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? If not, does anyone know what the **** is wrong? Cuz it's starting to **** me off.
I purchased an album on the 30th and keep getting the same message. I upgraded to 7.2 this morning hoping it would help - it's not looking good. I successfully purchased & downloaded music last week. Seems like Apple needs to get their act together.

I own a 16GB iPhone 3G. My father passed it down to me a year ago after he got the iPhone 4. I pressed the sleep/wake button on the top of the iPhone to check the time, and as I did so, the screen flashed on and off and now the screen won't work. Whenever I put my simcard in there calls will go through but I am unable to hear them, but if I take it out calls don't go through. I've tried charging it for a while, connecting to my laptop, holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10seconds to restore it, but nothing works. I've looked around and no-one'ed seemed to have this problem. I'd like to know what is wrong with my iPhone ASAP. thanks.
First, update iTunes, then connect the phone to the computer and do a restore. This will also get your iOS up to date. Your phone should operate correctly after doing this, if not, you will most likely need to have the phone serviced or replaced.

My Apple ID has been disabled. I have set a new password, but it still is saying disabled. About six months ago my itunes was hacked. Itunes replaced the money, but now I am cannot get in. Is there anyone who might be able to help me out? Thanks
