I have pages '9 - I have not upgraded to Mavrickes but need to be able to open up pages docs that are made in the latest version. It seems hard or inpossible to create compatable files forearlier versions. Is this true?
I have a client who has the latest pages. They are telling me that they can't create a compatible file for earlier versions ('9). I have not upgraded to mavrickes and cannot downlosd the latest version of pages. Is this true...the latest isn't compatable with earlier versions?

When I opened my itunes, it told me to download the latest version, so I clicked "Ok". Now i don't have itunes on my computer at all anymore. And it won't let me re-install it. What happened???
I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). Hi all, please help me reinstall Itunes onto my PC. When i did a pc refresh, it deleted my itunes and microsoft office. My computer runs on Windows 7, and I've installed and updated the latest versions of itunes etc, but still to no avail! I've tried different usb ports, troubleshooting, etc... But it still says "One of the USB decuces arrached to this omputer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it".
The iPod is brand new, sent to me by Apple as part of the 1st gen replacement programme. I've been using the cable that came with the 1st gen iPod (I bought the first gen second hand) It always worked on my computer with the 1st gen iPod. So I was wondering, do you think I need to replace my cable in order for my PC to recognize my iPod or is it something else?

No it is not a requirement that your client application uses the latest version of the C-SDK. However some bugs have been fixed in the latest version of the C-SDK and also some new features are available... so I can only recommend you to use it.

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. Old versions have a down arrow next to the front and back buttons to show all the pages you have visiteed and can return to but the new version does not have this feature
( Windows) right click the arrows and the listing will appear. The change may well be documented somewhere but if so I do not recall where. Presumably other OS such as Mac's will also have the feature using some other shortcut.

I keep getting upgrade notices for Lion compatabilty but I do not have Lion installed yet. How should I handle those upgrades?
Be very careful with upgrading to Lion. Upgraded my MBP 15" early 2011, the day Lion came out, but have been plagued by reduced battery life (i can now get only 2-3 hours after the upgrade). Rosetta support is gone. I would wait until Apple is back in the true apple mode and not like Microsoft. Lion (current version) is not worth the upgrade.
I went to the Apple store to have them check my battery, but they could not find anything wrong and incidentally both the "Genius" support technicians i spoke to had not upgraded to Lion. There needs to be a reason behind it. I bought my MacBook Air 11" (new) a couple of weeks ago. Apple claims 7 hour battery life on them. I charged my MB Air with 100% charge when i booted the machine it showed that it had 5:08 hours left on the battery. Over the time it took me to type this message, the time left has gone down to 3:58 hours left. This on a machine that apple ships with Lion tells me that there is a HUGE battery/power management issue with Lion.
I moved to Mac simply because I needed and could get long battery life. That has been defeated by Lion.

I prefer to update ff manually. However, if I miss a few updates and then select update, it updates one update at a time, instead of just updating to the newest version in one clean sweep - like it should! This is crazy time-consuming and irritating. This IS NOT status quo! Firefox is a little behind the times here. I am not looking for suggestions on how i should just remove and
reinstall Firefox. That's time consuming too. I JUST WANT FIREFOX TO KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO MODERNIZE MANUAL UPDATE TO JUMP TO THE NEWEST VERSION IN ONE STEP!It's possible that Firefox had downloaded that intermediate update automatically but not applied it for one reason or another, so rather than go to the web and check for a newer update, Firefox just used the one it already had. It's unusual to have so many point updates so frequently, so I'm not sure when it would be possible to try to observe this possibility.

Been running ver 3.6 ever since it came out and it's only crashed a few times. No other problems at all
We had to do some serious gymnastics to remove at least most of the ability to use IPB. We removed it from the gui, but unfortunately, if they know the hotkey, they can still bring it up. Security has some serious headaches with this, as by law they have to be able to track where students go, and going with private browsing removes their ability to do forensic work they're required to be able to do. Not a very well thought out feature from Mozilla in my opinion, but it is what it is. Successive versions have made it even more difficult to remove even the gui portion.
We do plan to release ESR due to the aforementioned security issues, but testing has been slow.

The left-click options in the web browser are disabled in the latest version
In all the previous versions of firefox I've had no issues in the drop down menu when left-clicking to either open a link in a new tab or save highlighted text or even saving an image to my drive. However now with the latest update (20.0.1) I have come across something which disturbs me by the full length of the drop down menu (too long, too much stuff on it) and half the options are disabled, which makes it harder for me to surf the web as I am used to doing. This is a problem related to having an outdated version of Firebug, most likely you've disabled automatic update of addons.
The easiest way to fix this is to go to Tools -> Addons, and then clicking the wheel button up near the search field. From there you choose "Check for Updates" and unless you need specific versions of an addon, choose the "Update addons automatically" while you are there.
You will most likely have to update Firebug twice, as it updates to an outdated version, and from there to the newest one.
This is the solution I stumbled upon as I had the same exact problem, where I tried creating a new profile and the likes. -
