Hi helenbeach,
If you've recently made changes to your Apple ID, you may need to update or log out/log back in to some of the related services for those changes to take effect. You may find the following article helpful:

I recently changed my Apple ID online, but I can't find a way to change it on my iPod touch. When I try to purchse an app, the iTouch keeps showing my old ID. However, when I purchase an app online with the new ID, it downloads to my iPod. What do I do to change the ID on the iPod itself?
Have you went to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in?

I changed my apple id email address last week, not a problem I just entered the correct info on my 6 apple devices for FaceTime, AppStore and iTunes.
The issue now, is that I have changed my appleid password so that the kids couldn't install any apps and charge my credit card.
Now I am getting an icloud authorisation error, it is telling me that the account (old apple id) or password are incorrect.
What have I done and how can I fix it?
Do I have to 'delete account' on my iphone and add a new one? I have just paid for the max icloud storage plan as well.I FOUND THE SOLUTION!
I had the same exact problem. I had my old apple ID connected to a school email which did not exist anymore. My ipad was prompting me to put the password in for that ID and I could not delete it from my ipad because the "Find My Ipad" was turned on, once again prompting for password. I called apple and they said this Apple no longer exists and is not in there system, which I knew already. After hours on the phone nobody could help me. Try this.
-Go to create a new Apple ID and use the same email address as the old apple ID which is locked in on your ipad
-Create a new password and all that, it will say it send a verification link to your email, in my case my email no longer exists so I could not do this
- I called Apple to explain this problem and I asked if they could verify it for me, which they did after I convinced them it was worth a try. The guy told me that the verification shouldnt matter and should still be able to login but he did it anyway. You can try skipping this step but if it doesn't work then go ahead.
-Go to ICloud and click on your account, the email should be grayed out but it should allow you to change that password, put in the new password which you just created.
-This allowed me to sign in to accept the new terms and conditions but it said "unable to conncet to server" so I just backed out and went to "Delete Account" and it worked!
The whole idea is to re-create your old apple ID into Apple's system and then use that new password. The guy at Apple said tons of people called about this problem and nobody could solve it. I thanked him for helping me and he thanked me for helping him. I hope this helps you! -
I have recently changed my apple Id email and my old one keeps popping up for no reason
Why does my old apple id keep popping up for no reason I have recently changed it
/Could be that you need to update an app. All apps are tied to the apple id that was used to download apps.

HT5787 I have reset my password but I cloud and App Store won't accept new password
I have reset my password and my I cloud and App Store won't accept the new password
Normally it's the Apple ID that's tied to your content not your password (You can change your password every day if you want to). Try again and choose the option I forgot my password and your will get an e-mail how to go about it.

Can't change my email in "Setting>ICloud" it will only let me change the password but not the email.
If Apple has acknowledged my new email why doesn't it change it in ICloud automatically? In order to change your information in your iCloud settings, you will need to delete the iCloud account and add it back with the updated information. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the "delete account" button)

On itially trying to set up my Ipad 2. Selected language, then country. On reaching the options for Wi-Finetworks it displayed the name for my existing Belkin router. I selected this and then entered the password. It then went back to displaying the networks showing good signal strength but to the left of the name for my router there is a circle which keeps spinning and an intermittent circle which keeps appearing to the right of the title "Choose a network."
The option in the top right corner to move onto the "next "screen can not be used.
What do I do?Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
iPad: Issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3304
iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199
Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

First time using this site; not sure if I'm doing it right.
My apple tv which has always worked beautifully is not picking up airplay from my ipad. It is picking up the audio, and it will certainly do that "mirroring" thing where you watch a grainy computer screen on your tv, but it won't work the way it used to. Any help? I have plugged and unplugged, reset and restarted everthing to no avail. Icons are available, I see the apple tv option on all devices but it just won't do it's thing. Help!
Thanks, everyone, in advance.
Sitz.Hi, sitzmark128.
Sometimes a simple power cycle of your your wireless network can resolve some AirPlay issues. I would also recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.
If the issue persists after processing these steps, see the article below.

I changed my Apple ID password now my iPad Messages does not recognize new password
I changed my Apple ID password now my iPad Messages does not recognize the new password. How can I correct this problem?
Do you have more than one apple ID? It sounds like you may be getting 2 apple IDs passwords crossed or something.
Try signing in at appleid.apple.com and see if you can sign in there with your new password... do this on a pc or mac... if you can sign in there then it's not the password but the device where you need to recheck your settings/information... if you can't sign in then you need to change your password again and sign out and back in on your device. -

Is there any possibility to search in Addressbook for "Company" name? In Communicator 9300i this was automatically done when typing a name (either person's name or company's name). Is there any solution for this?
