This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have 2 airport express base stations that I am trying to use to extend my wifi. I have windows 7 and downloaded the airport utility but it wont pick up my airport express. Does anyone know what im doing wrong and how to get them to work?

I would recommend that you start by performing a "factory default" reset on all of your AirPort base stations. Once completed power them all down. While powered-down, temporarily connect both Express base stations to an open LAN port on the Extreme using separate Ethernet cables.
Once connected, power up the Extreme; wait five minutes, and then, power up each of the Express base stations. Which you power-up first doesn't matter.
Now start up the AirPort Utility on the PC. It should now "see" all three base stations. If so, go ahead and configure your extended network.
Please post back your results.

Do you still see your photos, when you launch iPhoto and not Photos?
Where did you keep your iPhoto Library? In your Pictures folder, as is the default? Or on an external drive?
Look in the folder with your iPhoto Library.
You should be seeing two libraries, if you already let Photos upgrade the iPhoto Library:
Your iPhoto Library, now called .migratedphotolibrary
and the new Photos library:
are the libraries there? and how large are they?

I'm trying to restore my phone from back up but am being told the file is corrupt or incompatable with the device, but it's the only device I have! Am quite desperate as I lost all my photos and have no idea where they went or how to get them back.

I was trying to copy the photos from my iphone onto my laptop, had them selected and then the laptop froze. Was also doing a software update on iphone (which I thoughi had finished). When I went back to the phone the photos were gone. I was also unable to find them on the laptop :-( (they were all of my new little baby)

Because it says it's incompatible when it can't be, I got hope. I get error messages all the time with my iPod and iPhone that it cannot sync and that 'this device is not capapble of connecting to iTunes' stuff. I literally forget that happened, plug it in again and it works, I later realize that iTunes made a mistake, they do that.

     I also tried to remove "air." package name in air application. And i encounter the same problem.
     I do not find any solution to decode the xml inside res folder by AXMLPrinter2.jar. And those xml inside is compressed which is unreadable.
     However, what you can do is copying the structure of res folder. And go to your air sdk file path - adobeair-sdk-folder/lib/android/lib/resources/
     Replace those file exists in your res folder. And copy "values" folder to your res folder.
     Hope this solve your problem~

You most likely synced your iPod to a different iTunes then you previously synced it with. You won't be able to get all of your music back unfortunately unless you had it backed up.

Without more information, ie what were you trying to do when you got this message, it is very hard to answer your question. If you were trying to access a webpage it means the server the page is on had a problem. If you were doing something else please post back and someone may have the answer.

I have created sub-folders under one email address but can't find the sub-folders. Can you tell me where they are please.

Are you describing "mailboxes" in Apple's Mail app? That's odd, since this is the forum category for iPods.
The location of a new mailbox is determined by your Location selection when you created the new mailbox. In the panel that appears when you give command to create a new mailbox, there is a drop-down selection field for Location. Click that field. That is probably where you put your previous mailbox, so if the new one with the same name is duplicated at that location, that's the location you need to look.

We are currently working with bea weblogic version 7
and have developed an authentication module and a credential mapper module
The authentication is fairly simple : the user types in a username and password
and we come into the Authenticator Provider which we configered in our realm
The partial signature of the interface interface javax.security.auth.spi.LoginModule
public void initialize(Subject subject,CallbackHandler callbackHandler,Map sharedState,Map
options)
in the initialize method we store the subject in a private variable
public boolean commit()
in the commit method we add a principal to the subject via
subject.getPrincipals().add(new Principal(username))
and we add the private credentials as
subject.getPrivateCredentials().add(new PasswordCredential(username,password))
Now ,
some time later when the user want's to access an ejb that is using a JCA connector
component
and want's to retrieve a connection, we will pass via the Credential Mapper that
we configured in the realm.
The method signature is
public Vector getCredentials(Subject requestor,Subject initiator,Resource resource,String[]
credentialTypes)
The initiator subject represents the user that authenticated himself
I can extract the principal with the method subject.getPrincipals
but when i try to extract subject.getPrivateCredentials i get an empty set.
The questions is of course did weblogic hide away the private credentials or not.
I can work around this but stuffing the password in the principal at the moment
of authentication , but i would prefer a cleaner solution.

Is the Subject created in the Authenticator ever serialized or passed across
the wire? If so, anything stored in the private or public credentials will
be removed as part of the serialization process. This is documented in the
JAAS specifications from Sun.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

I have lost my 'music, mail, safari and phone' icons and i cant get them back alothough i can still find them when i search for them in the search bar.

my 'music, mail, safari and phone' icons have gone from my home screen and the rest of my apps have spread out only show 16 on a page (instead of 20) i have no idea how to get them back and have tried resetting home screen which did nothing. i can get onto these applications but i have to search for them in the search screen. can anyone help me get these icons back? if so please help

this just rearanges the icons in the same order but with the screen still set up with only 16 icons an the bottom 4 (muisc mail...) missing are there any other ways i can get them back?
