I have songs that have been purchased and they show up in my I tunes but the are not showing up bold like all other songs in my library, they will not let me download from the cloud and will not load onto my ipod.

I have a handfull of songs in my library that are not showing up bold like the other songs. When I click the icon to download from the cloud nothing happens and they will not load onto my ipod. When I look for them in the purchased area they show up as purchased and downloaded.

So far as I am aware, books haven't been available for 6 years, so I'm wondering if you mean audiobooks.
Audiobooks are not currently part of the content that can be re-downloaded.

TextBox and TextGraphic now call applyDisplayObjectProperties() at the end of their draw() method, like all other GraphicElements. This method handles setting the visibiliy of the GraphicElement's DisplayObject, among other things.
Note: We should make it unnecessary for each GraphicElement subclass to have to call applyDisplayObjectProperties() at the end of draw(). The GraphicElement base class should ensure that this gets called at the appropriate time.
Group now calls draw() on graphic elements even if they are invisible, because otherwise applyDisplayObjectProperties() never gets called and the TextLines stay visible. Group was assuming that the only visible stuff in a GraphicElement is drawn with Graphics calls, which isn't the case.
This change is OK for now because every GraphicElement currently has its own DisplayObject, but it will need to be rethought when GraphicElements share DisplayObjects.

He meant, do you have a system backup via Time Machine, Carbon Copy Cloner, etc.? That's the shortest way to restore your complete system and data when (not if) your hard drive dies.

Will an audiobook I download from the library in WMA form expire or corrupt if I put it on my ipod?

I have a classic Ipod and want to download audiobooks to it--some or MP# but some of them are WMA files. My question is about the WMA files. Will they expire if I transfer them to my ipod before the due date f the book? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for answering me. But I have downloaded WMA files (audiobooks with expiration dates) and transferred them to my Ipod....they are playing now, but I'm wondering if they will expire. The mp3 files do not expire, but if the wma files will play indefinitely, I would prefer to use them. They are much smaller files and take up less room on the Ipod.

TS3581 why does siri use the INTERNAL speaker of my iphone 5 and ipad 3 while connected to my car stereo, instead of my car's speakers like all other audio functions? Isn't that the whole point of Siri? I can't hear her at all. useless.

this is so frustrating. I can't hear the responses over the road noise so instead, I must look at the screen and read her responses (Safety first, right). Why just siri? all the other functions output audio through my car's speakers, but someone decided to make siri even MORE difficult to use??? Please apple, if this is a glitch, can you add it to the list and get siri working and fix this safety issue before someone dies?

I think apple doesn't support using siri while driving.

Why do i constantly get 1009 and 100 errors even though i'm updating what i previously downloaded from same country and from the same app store??...its just simply awful

I would delete the apps that you are trying to update. The MAS should then offer to install the app and it will install the updated version.
If you are afraid of completely loosing the app then either copy the app to an ext HDD or put it in the Trash, but do not empty the Trash until you are sure that the MAS has installed a new version.

iDevices are not backup devices.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

They seem to be word files - they will open if I choose "open with" microsoft word, but if I double click they don't open they are appearing as PDF on my screen. I even opened one and then tried to "save as" making sure I chose .doc and they still appear as PDF
I just created a new document response.doc in word and when I saved to my desktop it appears as a PDF file and I absolutely did not create a PDF or save as PDF it was a simple word

You copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
The iphone is not a backup/storage device.

My iPad wont let me download songs that have swearing in them and apps that say you have to be over 17

Upgrade to iOS7.1 has broken Music. . .can't play songs in the cloud and songs that have been downloaded won't play either.

I've discovered an interesting "feature" of iOS7.1 for the iPad (4th gen).
Since upgrading, I can no longer play music that is in the cloud and when trying to switch to a song that has been downloaded to the device, it won't play either; however, the equilizer graphic indicates that something is playing (bouncing up and down) but the song position indicator stays at 0:00.
Eventually, iTunes/Music (not sure what to call it these days since Apple can't seem to decide either) gives up on the song selected, the on that is not playing, and moves to the next song. If the next song is local to the device, music plays, if it's another song in the cloud, the pattern repeats until it hits a downloaded song. Have also discovered, after my various and simple testing efforts, that I can no longer download songs from the cloud - I was able to download one song but afer that. . .kaput.
It takes a special level of brilliance to send out an update that breaks your own applications/code. . .particularly one so core to the device.
Two words for future releases. . ."Quality Assurance".

I had a similar problem. Try resetting and erasing the phone and restoring from a known good backup.

All of your music should be in itunes on your computer.
Select it to sync and sync.
