I have the iPhone 4 and just here recently the lock button has quit working all together.
And I don't think I have insurance on it. I've had my iphone 4 a little over a year and a half. Can someone please tell me what to do?
Use Assistive Touch for perfect Virtual Lock Button. Settings App > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > ON > white button will appear on screen, tap it > tap Device icon > tap Lock icon. It will function as perfect Lock Button. If you use it to turn OFF iPhone. Then you will need to connect iPhone to power ie charger or computer USB to turn it ON.

So when I get a message from a friend, just the number will pop up, not the name of the contact. And when I click on said notification, it takes me to an empty message. I can go back, open my messages again, and see the real message, but this is sort of a pain. And I've tried the basic things I can think of - I've tried adding +44 to the contact name and the exact same thing happens... I've tried adding just 0 before the number (like I did when I was in England), and nothing happens. I've also tried turning my phone off and on, and I have the same issue. Can anybody help with this? It's just a minor annoyance but I'd like to have my contact names in my text messages, not just numbers - then it takes me a while to figure out who they are!

-HThat number is for an apple server in the UK that is used for iMessage activation. A hidden SMS is snet to that number when you turn iMessage on and is used to verify your phone number. I suggest you turn iMessage off. In settings/phone turn on dial assist. Check with your carrier to see if you can send an international SMS as you end that possibility to activate iMessage. Rest your phone (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).) then turn iMessage back on.

I have elements 9 and just a day ago everything was fine but now all of a sudden any time I try to convert or save my project or even burn it to a DVD the program shuts down on me.

On what computer operating system are you running Premiere Elements 9 and are you running Premiere Elements as the 9.0.1 Update?
In cases such as these, the first factor to rule in or out are the preferences/setting file. Here you want to delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file.

If you registrate one Apple ID for each iPhone/iPad, you'll get 5GB on iCloud for each Apple ID, right? I have two iPhones and one iPad with the same Apple ID, why can't I get 5 GB fo each of them?
Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

Yes, but if you want these devices to have complete capability of calling each other they each must have their own separate, individual e mail address. If they don't have individual e mail addresses, the i phones will be able to call each other because you'll be using their individual phone numbers -- the Mac mini will be able to call the i phones, but, the iphones will not be able to call the Mac mini. This is because the iphones will be using the mini's e- mail address to make the call, and if they have the same e mail address, they will think they are calling themselves, so the call will not connect.
So, the way I see it is, if you keep all of the email addresses the same, the only thing you'll loose is the ability of the iphones to call the mini.
EDIT: Thinking about it, my first sentence needs to be modified. Your iphones can share an email address but it must be different from the Mac mini address.
This isn't rocket science, but it can make your head spin. LOL -

You first have to subscribe to iTunes Match through iTunes on your computer and have your music library in iTunes uploaded/matched before you can enable it on your iOS devices (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). Without a computer you won't be able to use iTunes Match.

If you mean use it with a local carrier, then no - all iPhones sold in the US are carrier-locked to AT&T. You're better off selling the phone to someone in the US and buying one in the Philippines. -

For that kind of connectivity you need to be using an email account configured either as IMAP or Exchange.
IMAP & Exchange accounts will maintain a sync across all your devices, so if you read / delete a message on your phone, it will disappear from the server as well. This cannot happen in POP email accounts.

Alternatively, if its anything other than Google, you will need to contact your email providor or IT department (if your email address resides with an enterprise environment) to get the correct settings.

While syncing my I phone it gets to step six "optimizing " and gets almost to the end and I get a message that itunes has stopped working and has to close. It get to like 1074 of 1138 items to optimize when iTunes quits. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Same problem here! Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<
So, could you, apple developers, please, explain WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT?!!!!!! FIX IT! I am getting ****** of to spend hours at the computer and reading those lame advises which do not help at all! I have my own things to do except reading your support websites. My centre button has stopped working and my top lock button has stopped working too. I've had this iPhone 2 years now, can I take it into apple and swap for another phone or am I not covered? Thanks
The standard Apple warranty is 1 year. I believe you can purchase AppleCare+, which extends the warranty to two years from the date of purchase. This extended warranty needs to be purchased within 30 days of the purchase date for the phone.
If you have the extended warranty, you may be able to get a replacement phone at no cost. You will need to make an appointment at an Apple Store Genuis Bar and have them take a look at the phone.
If you did not purchase the additional warranty coverage, you should be able to purchase an Out-of-Warranty replacement, which is $199 for the iPhone 4S.

My iPhone 5 lock button has stopped working, it says on the website that certain models can be sent in to be replaced and that my serial number is one of these, but I am out of warranty and will not allow me to contact Apple without payng £25, is anyone else had the same issue as I don't want to pay out money to get something fixed that Apple have recognised to be faulty, and I don't live anywhere near an Apple Store

The £25 charge is a support charge for iPhones out of free support, you should not be charged for requesting support for a recall issue however if you can stretch to get to an Apple Store it is worth it resolving any issues face to face rather than email or phone is just easier.
