iCloud cannot help you - it's not a storage device, but primarily a syncing and backup service. You have to decide which videos to put on your ipad as you cannot add more memory to it.

If you're trying to sync your iphone to a different computer than the one that you used to import your CD's, you can't (anymore). Now that Apple is selling iTunes Match ($25/yr) you can only access non-iTunes-purchased songs if they are either:
A) on the exact computer that you used to import them into iTunes
or
B) are already synced to your iphone
Now that iTunes Match exists, if you want to move non-iTunes-purchased music that you imported on one computer...to a different computer, you have to buy iTunes Match. Awesome, huh?

Apple TV does not load rented items from iTunes in less than three (3) hours depsite YouTube, Netflix and network being fine. How can I get Apple to actually provide the iTunes service I am paying for?

I'm just tired of waiting on this inept device and it's underserved iTunes counterpart being unable to deliver enough bandwidth to load a show within a reasonable amount of time. I'm a big Apple fan and an equally big critic. This whole rig is a big FAIL so far, Apple. There is nothing ON DEMAND about the iTunes Store at this point. Netflix and YouTube work better on Apple TV than their own iTunes Store! And, this has been going on for a few years now, unremedied, and is only getting worse with more people buying these devices! SO, ATTENTION: EVERYONE WITH AN APPLE TV: If you have this same issue with iTunes Store not properly serving your paid content, do not hesitate to ask for your money back. It's the least they can do for the amount of life wasted waiting for a show to load. Not to mention, all the disappointments with the kids at bedtime and when my wife and I want to just relax and turn something on.

The iTunes Store, however, is a consistent failure. Something that seems unusual for Apple not to address, being so customer-centric and all.

Try using File >> Reconnect >> All Missing Files

I posted the same question a day ago with no response. I'm using an Acer x193w. You actually don't have to switch monitors to get it to work. Just make sure you turn off the monitor after shutting down the Mac mini (actually push the power button on the monitor, not just let it go to sleep). If you turn on the monitor (push the power button on the monitor), then power up the Mac mini, the monitor is recognized. The issue didnt exist with Snow Leopard for me. It only started after I started using Lion. Hope this issue gets fixed In a future OS update.

How can I get Lightroom 5.7 into the "Open With" menu on an external Harddrive?

Using Lightroom 5.7, I imported photo images as a .dng. I edited the images in lightroom. Then I dragged the file from the local Disk (C) to an external Hard drive (left panel of Library). When I look in the External harddrive, I would like to see thumbnails of the images. I think I would like to open the images in Lightroom but I cannot get Lightroom into the "Open With" dropdown menu. Photo shop, Adobe Reader and a bunch of Windows photo editing stuff is in there but I cant seem to get Lightroom into this menu.

The "open with" command is used to open images that are already in Lightroom in another external editor such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements or some other photo editing program. And you are opening an image that you are already seeing in Lightroom. So Lightroom won't be on the list and cannot be on the list because you are already looking at the images in Lightroom.
Concerning the images that you moved to the external hard drive, if you actually moved them using Lightroom then you should be able to see that external hard drive in the library module library tree and be able to choose that folder. Then the images will be in Lightroom and you can continue working on them. There doesn't need to be any "open with" to do that. If you moved those images some other way, please explain.

Basically it's a preprogrammed USB keyboard that presses the Windows key + R, then types their internet address in.
However, even though Firefox is my default browser, this link opens in Internet Exploder. IE is verboten on any PC I use!
How do I set the PC to use Firefox for EVERYTHING, including/especially addresses typed into the Run command box?
WIndows Vista on this one (I know, it's not my choice, it came with it).

On XP, once you set a default program, it stays like that. Vista seems to have a mind of it's own.
