J3sus Chr1st!!! How difficult can it be?????
To install a battery in a MBP should be a 15 minute operation and can be done at an Apple store. I would call ahead and make an appointment AND make certain that they have the battery required in stock for your MBP.
Ciao.

If I had my iphone 4s factory unlocked, and then reset all the settings, will it still be unlocked if I give it to a fellow servicemember?

There is generally a misundersting this area
there is no such thing as as a factory unlocked iPhone
there is an iPhone which has not been carrier lock as has
been available outside the US from day one
there is no evidence in OP that he purchased NOT locked from Apple -
Please have a device you've lost a year ago and is now asking for Aastgl and restore the iPhone5 firs
What is 'Aastgl' ?
If you mean activation lock : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515
then you will need to type in the account id and password that it's locked to, or remove it from your account (e.g. via http://icloud.com), or ask the person whose account it is to remove it from their account.
If you mean your answers to your security questions, then the HT5312 page that you posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 -
I transferred video from iPhone (4S) to iPhoto and then dropped that footage into iMovie9. The footage is there in iMovie but it is stretched. I have tried to adjust using aspect ratio options but that doesn't work. Is there a way to fix that in iMovie (or at any other point in the process)?
It shouldn't be this way. Did you shoot the video in portrait or landscape mode? Many people shoot in portrait mode because they typically hold the phone upright. This is really shouldn't happen if the videos are shot in landscape mode.

cant find the right forum for this but as i am having problems booting my macbook pro, keep having to reser pram etc and now wont boot at all.....
aill this theoretically work?
a. Restore entire macpro hard drive from time machine to a time over a year ago before problems started
b. Restore more recent individual files such as logic projects individually from same time machine backup
c. install any programs manually again only couple of vsts
please answer direct question as i have tried everything else and nonhardware problems just will no longer boot after months of reseting each time
cheersoops. typo: "I went ahead and befored the restore." should be... I went ahead and performed the restore.

As the header say any help on how to turn it off or just put it in the bag of rice and hope for the best as its down to 25 % power anyways
When an iDevice gets wet the First thing to do is Turn it Off... leaving it on is not good.
If you cannot Turn it off... go to your nearest Apple Store. -

What is the problem with my ipod? what can I do to solve it, I even restored it once
Sounds like the battery is dead. Bu try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iPOd
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If still problem your battery is very likely dead. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
iPod nano 6th generation, syncing with audiobooks does not work now, had been working. Sync test says: No iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad found. Connectivity test OK, no physical problems, iTunes shows the iPod. Any clues what to do?
Hmm.. Thank you for the response.
Have you tried using the iPod with another user account or computer, to help narrow down whether the problem lies with the computer, account, or the iPod itself?
Maybe try reformatting it, using the tools provided by Windows. Instructions on how to reformat your iPod can be found in this article.

I got my iPhone 5 a little over a year ago, and my power button recently quit working. Since ive had it for over a year, can i still get it fixed or replaced?
Wow that is so unlucky. If I was you I would try talking to someone at the Apple Store, explain your situation and don't be shy to shed a tear or too. Its just a shame 3 weeks after your phone getting hardware problems. I know people will say, oh buy Apple Care but I feel ya and I know adding that extra money in the beginning feels pointless and expensive.
Worst case scenarion like I said you will have to pay Apple 269 for them to swap phones. Or if you have any nerd friends have them fix it for you. Its a tedious repair the way the power button has some weird hinge that needs to snap on and ribbons are so thin. I do not advise for you to attempt to fix your self unless you don't care if you break it completely.
Alternatively you could just turn on Assisitive touch on accessibility and use that. That way you wont need to pay anything to fix your phone and wont need to take it apart either. -
I downloaded the i07. My id had changed a year ago and I forgot my password and my answer to the security question was not accepted. Tech support say nothing that can be done. I can no longer access my iphone. Any suggestions
I believe part of the recovery process is you get an e-mail allowing you to reset questions. If that e-mail isn't correct either because your son set it up then you really have no option but to ask Apple again. They are getting strict abotu security and given the number of "My iTunes account got hacked" posts here I can guess why. They have no way of knowing you really are the owner of the account. It's like me going to a policeman and saying, "See that car over there? That is mine, can you open the door for me?" and the police opening it on that basis alone.

I have had an iphone 3, 4, 4S, and now a 5. Every picture I have ever taken is saved as "photo". How do I change the auto naming format to a more sequential name?
There is no way to change this.

i had my iphone 4 stolen today, and i have called the network people they blocked my sim and phone. What i want to know is will the person who stole my phone be able to access my stuff, such as my contacts, texts, photos etc??
I really don't think that they have any interest in your data. They most likely plan on wiping the phone in order to sell it.
If they do restore from a backup, they would have to restore in Recovery Mode because it has a passcode on it. But that can't happen anyway because if they synced to a different iTunes library it would not have any of your backups. -
i had bought iphone 4 from singapore and now i am relocated to india.....there is some hardware problem in the phone due to which i m nt able to use it.....how do i give the phone for repair and in which country?
The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party
