I have to twist the lid to make contact macbook air

I'm new to this site. I have a 2009 mackbook air. It developed vertical lines on a white screen. I thought it was the video processess. I replaced the logic board and booted the machine to discover the same issue. As I was closing the lid, I noticed the screen came back to normal with log in window. You have to hold the lid in the twisted position to make contact. Does anyone know the problem?

twisting the upper half to make contact. ........... with what? The bottom chassis, or does not the display assy. close flush and even with the lower chassis.
I presume by "make contact" you rather mean open the fault to feed the display correct.
delamination, no....., however are you saying twist rather than TORQUE?
twisting laterally the entire display and the occurrence = display feeds
to torque the entire display assy. (bend it) and have the occurrence = inverter board feeds in the display assy.
either way its the display assy.
However you did NOT answer the only important question:
Is it only coming on immediately before closing? If so you have a defective reed sensor switch.
Since you replaced the Logic board yourself, obviously its good you have repair skills, as do I.
In which case to determine if its the reed switch OR the display assy. Apple can diagnose your Air for you in shop no charge if yo make an appt.

If the center portion of the monitor is flickering then your GPU on the logic is bad or (unlikely given this symptom) that your monitor cable is pinched/damaged.

I realised that you just need to go to System Preferences > Sound > Input > and uncheck 'Use ambient noise reduction'. mmm answered my own question.

Why does my screen turns black and I have to reset the phone to make it work?

My phone is fully charged when suddenly the screen turns black it doesnt matter if I push the buttons the screen still is black, I have to reset the phone to make it work. When the screen is black and if you call you can hear is ringing but my phone does not sound.
I had a bad experience with this phone, to tell you the truth I dont even want it anymore, I have other apple products and they are excellent and had worked fine but the iphone is a dissapointment to me.

Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

There is no download for the software. The factory software that you are looking for is called ilife. It is all of the software that would have came preinstalled with your mac on your original hard drive when you first bought it. You will have to get new software on your computer. This might actually be a great opurtunity to upgrade to Lions. Search the Lions software in the mac store and it will come up. Click add to cart and check out. The price for it is $20. I defientely recomend Lions, it has alot of new great features. Then wate for the install disk to come in the mail. when it come just pop it in and follow the step by step instructions. If you dont want to upgrade to lions however you can download the ilife package from apple.com for a small price. Hope this helps.

Not to worry, you're not the first to expect Print to finish by returning you to the edit mode. The thing is that Printing is so hit and miss with this version of the app, you will probably want to stay in the Print window for more than one attempt.

If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them.

update to latest OSX 10.9.3
reset SMC , you likely put your Air into sleep mode with phones attached.
update the OSX to fix the issue.
