I have tryed to connect an AirPort Express to my wireless network. But I alwais get the errocode -4. Can anybody help. I have reset the AirPort Express and updated the software.

The ZyXEL P-2601HN-F1, as you know, is a combination DSL modem & 802.11n wireless router (or gateway device).
For your goal you will want to take a look at this Apple Support article for details on how to configure an AX for iTunes.
If you are still having difficulties with the AX joining the ZyXEL's wireless network, you can try the following:
Temporarily disable wireless encryption.
If you are hidding the SSID, disable that feature.
Change the Mode Select setting to: 802.11g Only
Change the Channel Selection from "Auto" to a set channel, like 1, 6, or 11

I can get the computer to connect to the network but it will not connect to the internet. I have dug around in the wireless settings and the only problem seems to be the IPv6 settings which do not seem to be picked up by the system. I cannot seem to unearth what the settings should be. I am trying to connect our exercise bike to our wireless network. It sees the network, but once pass phrase is put in, it won't connect. Their tech support said the problem is with the router and we may need to open ports 80, 443 and 4348. We have an AirPort Extreme and I scanned for open ports and found 80 already open but the others are not. Tried using Port Mapping, putting the port number 443 in both the Public UDP and TCP fields and the Private UDP and TCP fields also. The Private IP address defaulted to 10.0.1.201 which is right outside of the DHCP range. Will this be the IP of the bike or should I change it to something else? Are the values I put in the fields totally wrong? Bike is still not connecting. Thanks for any help!

Here's an update:
Now the light is not blinking. It's a solid, consistant green. I don't know if it helps to narrow it down or anything, but I just figured I'd mention it.

Some users have obtained an older AirPort base station to use with vintage computing hardware, so their early 802.11b cards could still get whatever level of 'security' without detracting from later wireless systems for newer devices that use a different protocol or frequency. By use of a different wi-fi for the old stuff.
An ethernet splitter or hub device can allow more than one base station to operate. A backward-compatible AirPort extreme from about 2004 could do, if you go there.
{I gave away a very nice 800MHz 17" iMac G4, it didn't see much use. Then I found the new owners had left it unplugged for a year, & with the 1/2AA 3.6V lithium battery dead, it would not start. And they got rid of it...}
Happens I have an original Apple refurbished AirPort Extreme orb last model (the high end in its day) still in the generic brown Apple box; unused and never tested at my end of the road. And that was a spare. Also I found three more used ones in second hand stores, for about $3. each. Alas, the tiny early model AirPort express does a fine job, too. I'm using one as they work with both b/n wi-fi.

you need to find out what your wifi password is....Search your router online.
I know netgears are usually routerlogin.net (popup ADMIN- pass: password)
Others have a different login.
You can always try typing in your routers IP address into a browser search field(ie. 192.169.1.1)
Some routers come with a setup CD.
Another route with some is reseting the router to factory default(no password). This will allow anyone to access it thats nearby, so Id recommend this ONLY for initial connection, then reconfiguring it. Hold the reset button in for 30 seconds.

My playlists only appear in itunes when my ipod is connected, and it will not allow me to drag songs into playlists from the music library, can anyone help. Have downloaded newest version of itunes and using windows xp.

Is it possible that you are not seeing the thirteenth song because you did not scroll all the way down within the playlist?

Virtually all iTunes movies are widescreen, so it is difficult to understand what you are referring to, could you explain a little better please.

"Connection Failed" when trying to connect to another Mac on my wireless network.

I am having an intermittent problem with the connectivity between my iMac and Mac Pro - the latter is the media server for our house. Occasionally my Apple TV's seem to lose connectivity to the Mac Pro too which is a real pain. Both Macs are running Mavericks and the Apple TVs are running the latest software too.
If I try to connect to the Mac Pro in Finder on my iMac, the Mac Pro is there but when I click on it I get "Connection Failed". Rebooting both computers seems to fix the problem but is far from ideal when mid way through a film!
The messages in console on my iMac when I try to connect to the Mac Pro in Finder is:

I'm not sure if this provides a clue?

I've managed to connect OK using Connect as. So at least that part is solved. I will see if I can get any diagnostics as to why the Apple TV drops out.
