I have two Macbooks at home that are connected to a Comcast Wi-Fi network modem. One of the computers has sporadic in receiving the WI-FI signal while the other is unaffected. Both have same operating system. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Both have same operating system (10.5.8). I have restarted computer, and unplugged and retarted modem on several occassions to no avail--one still works the other inconsistent. Have spent a great deal of phone time with Comcast and they suggest acquiring latest OS. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
This does not sound to be a router problem...You should try to uninstall and re-install the ethernet adapter/card installed in your computer...Do you have 2 Ethernet Adapter's by any chance...Check the Device Manager, Click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>> Double click System, go to Hardware >>> Device manager, click on the plus'+' sign next to Network Adapters and see how many Ethernet Adapters are listed...
Also connect that computer straight to your modem and see check if you get the same message,that 'YOU ARE CONNECTED TO MORE THAN ONE NETWORK'...

Whenever I use the brush or eraser tool, during every other stroke, I get a Ø (circle with a line through it) sign next to the brush shape/cursor and can't draw. Please help, it's extremely frustrating and disrupting my workflow! I am drawing every animation frame so you can imagine, every other stroke is quite often.
There are locked layers below my active drawing layer, which makes me wonder if Flash is just trying to tell me I can't draw on those layers, but I know that Plus I need those layers there to guide my active layer's drawing. I've never run into this issue before with layers being locked and such. What am I missing?

Thank you!Hmm interesting theory...I do press undo a lot, but only because I'm trying to get a good-looking brushstroke down, usually I don't even actively lock a layer as a step during my session because they've already been locked previously and I don't need to lock/unlock them often. The thing that is frustrating is that I will try to make a stroke, and can't because the symbol pops up...then I'll make the exact same intended stroke again and then it will work fine. It's pretty haphazard but basically every other stroke or every few strokes, it'll pop up.
I think I'm beginning to almost accept this rhythm in my workflow
I'm using CS6, and I noticed that I don't have this problem when I bring the file to work on at my job (CS5) or at school (CC).
Edit: I tried to test your theory by drawing as much as I could without pressing undo...I was pleasantly surprised to not run into any issues with the paintbrush, but sure enough, as soon as I switched from the paint brush to the eraser, and tried to erase something I just drew, the eraser popped up with the "prohibited" symbol. -
My iMac fails when I try to upgrade from Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I have to boot up from disk. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem? I need to upgrade in order to install latest software.
It would be lovely to know what your talking about. Upgrading from Snow Leopard does not involve discs.
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
or Xeon processor
2. 2GB of memory

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

This procedure will check for files in your home folder that are locked or have a wrong owner. It makes no changes and will not, in itself, solve your problem.

Every time I do all the steps to reset the questions the only problem I have is that I noticed in the link to reset them using an email the email in the link don't match the one I created my account with. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I have an imac with version OSX 10.6.8, and the built in camera no longer works, and says "no camera connected." Does anyone know how to fix this problem other then bring the machine back to Apple?

I'm trying to connect to my home wifi with my imac gh5. After I enter the password it says connection timeout or password incorrect. I know there's no issue with the connection but I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now? -
My iphone dosen't doesn't make key tone sounds anymore when I write a text message or when I want to dial a phone number I don't know how to fix this problem, I don't hear the clicking noise anymore does anyone know how to fix this problem?And all the sounds on my phone are on, even the keyboard clicks.
Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, double check the volume button just in case. If you still can't hear the tones go into your settings>sounds and make sure the options are on.

Looks like you have to upgrade to at least 7.8.2.16.

Since upgrading to IOS 8.1.2 on my iPad3, I cannot send/receive emails from either of my Apple or Verizon email accounts. I confirmed that my internet connection is working. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or how to go back to IOS 8.1.1?

Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.
