I have upgraded my MAC OS to 10.6.8. FCP 5.0 still runs great, but Soundtrack Pro 1.01 opens, but operates at a glacial pace. It does not functionally operate. What can be done to remedy this?

Depending on the configuration of the computer hardware and software
you may need to consider upgrade the RAM by installing more capacity.
Also, in the same vane, choose to consider upgrade the hard drive to
one of faster transfer, such as SSD, hybrid, or fusion; if not already at
least 7200-RPM and not too full of saved content.
Since no information is given about the model build configuration of Mac
there may be other suggestions to make it work better. Usually an OS X
upgrade requires one to look at the hardware resources available to it.
The OS X works best with more memory: new higher capacity chips.
This may be possible, and they should be high quality from reputable
vender who has tested them on Apple in OS X, such as OWC or Crucial.

Thank u for any assiststanceI concur with Meg; having a number of iPads with the Smart Cover, I can say without a doubt that there is no possible way the case could bend the machined-alumnium case of iPad. The force exerted by the magnets is not anywhere near sufficiently powerful; if they were, not only could you not remove the cover, it would be attracting magnetic objects to the iPad. It's not even easy to bend the iPad yourself, much less the weak magnets of the case, which aren't even strong enough so you can pick up the iPad by the case without it coming off.
Something else has bent your iPad, if it indeed is bent (confirm with a verified straightedge; there's an optical illusion that makes the iPad appear to be bent when looked at edge-on, but it's not actually bent). If it is really bend, have you been carrying it it a backpack, attache case or other item with other objects? Set anything heavy on the iPad? I bet you, or someone, has, or something like that, and in such a case the damage will not be Apple's fault and hence not covered by the warranty.
But as Meg suggested, you can take it to an Apple Store and discuss the matter with them. The cover, though, again cannot possible have bent the iPad.

This means that you did not enter a valid user ID and/or password for the Outgoing (SMTP) mail server when setting up the account. You must enter information for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers; they are separate settings.

Firefox starts up, and when home page pressed, program does not respond. What can be done?
When Firefox is started, the circular think button continues to run, but the program has only started one new tab. When the Home Page button is clicked, program seems to lock in a 'Firefox not Responding' error message. When I try to shut it down by using upper right corner X, it gives two choices, "Wait for the program to respond" of "Shut down program". I choose Shut down program, and in the background a message saying 'Windows checking for a solution' although it never comes back with one. What I'd like to know is will Firefox save my bookmarks if program is deleted and a newer version of Firefox is downloaded?

Afraid so. Liquid spills can kill your computer. Most of the components will have to be replaced, which is why it's such an expensive accident. You may want to get an estimate to repair and compare it with the cost of buying a totally new machine.

If you have the computer that you first setup the phone with iTunes then just connect the phone to that computer via. the USB cable and see if a sync can be done.

My iPod player within my iPhone isn't working properly when playing videos it will start then stop after a few seconds and also the sound bar appears then disappears, and when playing music no sound is coming out when I'm on a call I can hear everything properly and also on loud speaker! Hi, I recently updated to iOS 8.0 on my Ipad mini however when i try to agree to the new terms and conditions i get an error message saying either 'Cannot connect to server' or 'Your session has timed out please try again' what can be done to resolve this problem? Also i cannot download anything from the App store as a result of this.

I've got to agree with Allan. It sounds like the hard drive is corrupt at least. It's possible it might be physically failing. Without backups, it's possible your data is already gone. You need a professional to help you.
If you do not have an Apple Store near you or simply don't have the time to spare, there are some things you can try, but you must understand that it's possible these things could make the chances of recovering your data worse than they already are. Perform the instructions to follow at your own risk!
First, you can try repairing your hard drive with Disk Utility. If that works, see if you can start up the machine. If you can, the very first thing you need to do is back up any data you don't want to lose. You may still need to take other steps, as your system may be damaged as well, but getting the data is the important part.
If Disk Utility cannot repair the problems, you can try DiskWarrior. It can repair problems that Disk Utility cannot. However, it also increases the risk of destroying your data if it fails. If it works and you can start up the machine, do the same as I advised for following success with Disk Utility.
If repairs (with either) were successful, but the machine still won't start up, you can try reinstalling the system. Hold down command-R at startup and then just install right on top of the existing system. If all goes well, you'll be able to start up afterwards and can get your data backed up. If all goes badly, it'll further decrease the chances of getting your data back.
If neither can repair the damage, you're in bad shape. You will need a professional to help you, unless you are willing to lose all your data. -
