I cannot send mail from Firefox. Can receive E-mail but cannot send it. This worked OK until today. I have had firefox for many years. Just reinstalled Mozilla and still cannot send E-mail from firefox.
I use comcast.net for E-mail,using Mozilla to get there.

Any error message provided and if so, what?
Are you also accessing an email account and SMTP server provided by SBCGlobal.net with either email client and if so, are you able to send messages with this account and SMTP server when connected to the internet via SBCGlobal.net at home?
And let me get this straight - both email clients work fine without any problems sending messages with your Office email account and SMTP server when connected to the internet at a friend's house that uses another ISP besides SBCGlobal.net but this is an Apple problem?
If an Apple problem, then you'd have problems sending messages with this account and SMTP server regardless whose network and ISP you are connected to.
Regardless what this more than likely under-trained or just unaware person at SBCGlobal.net told you, all ISPs have restrictions on using an SMTP server that is outside of their network or that isn't provided by the ISP used for connecting to the internet.
Some ISPs allow the use of an authenticated server only that is outside of their network but some block its use regardless.
Within the last year or so, SBCGlobal.net made a drastic change in regards to such restrictions and conveniently neglected to inform their customers beforehand. Those using an SMTP server that was outside of SBCGlobal.net's network regardless if the SMTP server was authenticated were required to "opt out" of Port 25 blocking with SBCGlobal.net in order to use an SMTP server that was outside of their network which was working fine before this change was made.
Have you opted out of Port 25 blocking with SBCGlobal.net?

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I have experienced the same problem on my my iPad1, my former iPhone 4 my laptop and even my new iPhone5 though I had really hoped that the new phone and IOS would solve the problem. About 5% of the songs are affected and the stoppage can range from seconds short to a minute and a half. The file shows more of the music left, but it stops playing and goes to the next song. Very aggravating. Appears to happen on purchased and uploaded music.

Then exposure and White balance changes would change the histogram but not the appearance of the photo. Finally clipping was also not appearing on the picture. I first reuploaded the photos. You need to reinstall iPhoto. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the:
HD/Library/Receipts folder (10.5 and earlier)
or from the /var/db/receipts/ folder (10.6) .
or from the /private/var/db/receipts folder (10.7 or later)
Then install iPhoto from the source it came from originally.

I use an iPod nano 5th generation. I have had it for about two years now and after about one year, I plugged in my iPod into my computer to sync more music. Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. For 2 years, until yesterday, Firefox worked well. I opened it, using the "Internet" button on the keyboard, or from the start menu. Now, nothing responds. Yesterday, when Mozilla was running, the top part of the screen display disappeared. The "search" message filled the whole screen. I tried clicking on Mozilla in the Start tableau, and the "All Programs" tableau. Nothing. According to the Control Panel, Mozilla, all 26.97 megabytes, is still there.

If the new profile does work, you can transfer selected data such as bookmarks and passwords to the new profile. I would not copy preferences or extensions, instead re-install the extensions. My old computer quit letting me access my iTunes library. Then it told me, "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7(Windows error 127)." I have been using my library for more than 10 years. How can I resolve this?
