I have Windows 7, Mozilla older version won't stay without upgrading to Mozilla 5.0 Mozilla 5.0 won't work with Windows 7 please help

I have a new Dell, Windows 7. IE and Chrome work beautifully (I had to install these to get onto the Internet since Mozilla won't work). Older versions of Mozilla worked for a few seconds, but then the auto update kicked in (to 5.0). I even tried to stop the auto updates immediately after installing an earlier version, that didn't work either. Mozilla will not allow me to enter text, lets me enter a few letters then freezes. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.

If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.

ITunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows - Fix??

Hi everyone,
I had issue after issue with the latest iTunes update (12.1.1) not working on my windows 7. It simply would not lunch when clicking on the shortcut to open.
After a fair bit of searching I found this alternative version which seemed to do the trick and now it works:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - iTunes64Setup.exe(2015-02-18)

The "for older video cards" installer - which, like most prior "64 bit" versions of iTunes, is actually a 32 bit application with a 64 bit installer - may be a useful fallback if the full 64 bit version does not install or run correctly. Although 12.1.1.4 is a major improvement over 12.1.0.71, there are clearly still some lurking incompatibilities with some 64 bit Windows systems/components. It is, however, a little misleading to say that "iTunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows" - in many cases it works fine without switching to the alternative version. I have the full 64-bit version of 12.1.1.4 running on three systems - two Windows 7 and one Windows 8.1 - no issues with either installation or operation on any of them.

Will iPODshuffle work with Windows 98 OS

I received iPODshuffle for Christmas, but I gather that I need to upgrade my computer operating system to WindowsXP. Will it work with Windows 98 OS?

I called Apple to complain... fat lot of good that did, but it made me feel better I guess.

I found the link, and downloaded, but received this message:

I'm afraid I can't find anything online to help my understanding with this... I don't think it'll work for me anyway.
Does anyone know when Palm is going to do something to allow sync with itunes again?

Will itunes 11 work with windows xp, I have ended up with this neqw version and it doesn't work , I can look at my library ,but not play and since synching my ipod it is now empty. Apple support is useless, they treat me like I'm on a Mac not a PC .

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

It seems that many (if not all) of my files have been replaced by older versions. I kind find the multiple versions (listed in the Search as in the same dir) and restore them but this is strange. There is no chance that another user here has done a restor

I can find the multiple version including the most recent version using the Search, however, they show up in the same directory even though Finder only shows a single copy. I am able to save and then overwrite in order to restore but this is strange. There is no chance that another user here has done any sort of system restore action (at least intentionally).

In a OS Extended (HFS) file system there is no way you can have two files with identical names in the same directory.
Of course who knows what spotlight is thinking of most of the time when it does its stupid searches (get Find any File instead) and lists its results? Are you sure it is listing the same directory or do you have a backup and it is finding it there and you aren't noticing it is two different volumes?
You could also try reindixing the volume. Add it to the Spotlight system preferences Privacy and then remove it.

It should remove it for you unless you are on a Mac. If that's the case, you do not NEED to uninstall the older version but there really isn't any reason to keep it.

I downloaded the newest version, but get an error after the files have been extracted and the setup starts to run. Which version(s) of Firefox will work with Windows ME and from where can I download that version?
