i have windows 8.1 recovery image in flash drive ,i want to burn the recovery in dvds.by mistake i deleted the partition drive which was on my computer ,please help me with this problem.

Hi,
Unfortunately you can create only 1 set of recovery media.
Copying and burning the recovery USB to DVD and then using DVD to do system recovery will not work.
What you can do is back up all your data to an external drive. Do a Factory Reset with the Recovery USB to get back all the partitions including the recovery partition into the HDD.

If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
• iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
• DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
• Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
• Burn - only free alternative I know of on internet. Very simple - Just for doing a plain Video-DVD

Delete the shortcut and make a new one. The 'real' application will probably be fine if you launch it from the Start/Programs menu.

Please do the following to complete this task.
1) Insert the picture library as list view webpart in your page.
2)Specify the column titled Thumbnail Preview in the list view.
3) Edit the webpart and set the Toolbar Type to Summary Toolbar.

How to recover from D recovery drive that is not in the recovery point list

I got problem when I created a recovery point, this removed previous created or HP manufactory recovery.
then I use other tool make this recovery disk back. now because it is not in the recovery point, even though I can see the driver D, recovery is not work, what it said is access denied.
another problem is I alrerady update my notebook to Windows 8.1 Pro. would that default recovery back to Windows 8.1 Pro?

When I erase had drive, do I also erase the recovery disk?

Using Mavericks and need to erase disk because it is sold. When I hold down option key, it shoes the CCC clone which is the temp boot drive and its recovery disk. It also show the Mac and recovery disk.
I have to install 10.6 on this and want to find out if I erase both of the10.9 disks, HD and Recovery and if so, what order?

You must repartition the drive in order to remove the Recovery HD. Do the following:
What to do before selling or giving away your Mac
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
         partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
         and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
         (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
     3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
         with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
     4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
         Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
         username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
         Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
         install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
         Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

i just got my mini notebook a n310 i keep trying to make a recovery using a flash drive 8 gig but whew i bring up the program and plug in the flash drive i select flash drive and click on create a pop up screen tells me to put in a flash drive with more then 6 gigs then i plug it in again it says program canceled what am i doing wrong? Aperture has the ability to work with files in their existing location. They are called "referenced masters." When you import images, you should select the "In their current location" in the "Store Files:" drop down box. Have a read of the documentation for full specifics. Unsure how you can resolve your duplication; might be some work but next time have a read of the manual first
Information for versions is stored in the Aperture database (library file). The masters can be inside the library file itself, or they can be somewhere else.

Without a hardware lock I dont think there is a way to lock the drive cross-platform. You can lock all the files on the drive, which will prevent them from being modified, but that's only a superficial lock, as the "lock" checkbox can be edited in both windows and OS X.

What do you mean the "update" says plug it into iTunes? If you have the iTunes logo/USB cord on the screen, it's in recovery mode or needs to be activated. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. You have no choice but to plug it into the computer. Hopefully, you backed it up before you started the update.
If that's not what you mean, then please explain.
Apple may or may not be able to fix the lock button for you without replacing the phone entirely. You'll have to take it in and ask.
