I installed the add-on "customizable shortcuts" - how do I find and use it?

It is listed under my add ons, but I have no idea how to actually use it. It doesn't open up as a feature. I just need to stop the alt key from stopping my typing every time I accidentally hit it.

Then the keystroke to delete depends on which version of iPhoto you have. All the keyboard shortcuts are under the Help menu.

My start up disk is almost full, but I have deleted everything I can find - I think that when I upgraded my software it has saved the old one - anyone know how I can find and delete it?

Late last year I upgraded from tiger to leopard (very out of date I know) but ever since I have been getting warnings that my startup disk is full. I have deleted loads including pictures and itunes but still get the same mesage. I think when I upgraded the old version was stored somewhere and this might be causing the problem. Does anyone know where I would be able to find and delete - or alternatively have any other suggestions for what the problem may be?

80GB is a very small drive.
Sorry Noondaywitch, but omni disk sweeper isn't going to install in the space remaining, without more problems.
My Suggestions
1. Get a large (400GB+) USB hard drive
2. Copy all the contents of your home directory to the USB drive.
3. Delete all your files from your home directory on your computer after making sure everything transferred ok.
4. Perform a clean (destructive) install of Mac OSX and then the applications you need.
5. Check how much space you have left.
6. If there is less than 50% of the HDD space left (35GB or so), then consider replacing the HDD with a new larger one. If it's a white intel mac book, then this is very easy, and instructions how to do it are included in your 'everything else' wallet with your OSX DVDs etc.
7. If you can't replace the HDD, then it's time to consider a new machine i'm afraid.

Get a second external drive, drag both the iTunes library and the pictures to it, launch iTunes with the Option key held down, and point it to that instance of the library. This also works with iPhoto, but see below.
A drive or partition needs to be formatted as Mac OS Extended in order to hold an iPhoto library or for Time Machine to back it up.

Scenario:
My main computer (G5 PPC 10.5.8) is in my basement studio. I run Logic Pro 8.0.2 and Pro Tools 8.0.1cs2 on it (DIGI 002 interface). My secondary computer (G4 PPC 10.5.8) is in one floor up in my dining room. Not much on it, really. I could install any number of different DAWS on it if I had to. The computers are networked through a router and I have Apple Remote Desktop. Controlling my G5 from my G4 is a breeze. Works great. I even have an alternate MIDI controller connected via a long USB cable running through a hole in the floor under my desk down to the G5 (old hardwood with a knot punched out, also where my ethernet cable is run).
Problem:
I can't monitor audio through ARD. I have Wormhole and RAX but have been unable to figure that out. I came across "AUNetSend/Receive" while googling around. But have yet to figure out where to actually get it or how to use it even if I can find it.
All I want to be able to do is hear what I'm working on through another computer via LAN. I'm not recording or doing any serious mixing from the remote computer. For that I go downstairs. But for simple editing work, cleaning up tracks, experimenting with software instruments, composing etc. I need to be able to work upstairs so I can be more accessible to my family at certain times.
I don't really care if it's AUNetSend or some other means. I just want to monitor audio through my network. Is running an ethernet cable directly between the two computers an option? Then what about my internet connection? Some sort of splitter to my router? Seems this shouldn't have to be necessary. Why is this so hard to figure out? Don't more people want to be able to do this?

question is what do you want to do in the user exit? Change or check data, issue other actions, etc.
I start normally with SE81, search for the application component and select the entire subtree by pressing F9. Then go to Information System.
In your case it is LO-MD-MM i suppose.
In the repository browser you can find user exits and Badis in this area under enhancements.
In your case BADI_MATERIAL_CHECK might be possible.

Hi, I have the Creative Cloud membership.
I just re-installed the CC on a new computer (iMac).
I keep getting the message
“Unable to install the Add-on ID imposter Trial (error -603) (referring to Indesign, but the message comes up regularly).
As I don’t have the Add-On because it was only a trial, I have nothing to delete.
I have already looked at all the information on Add-ons. It does not mention this problem.
How can I stop this message appearing?

Hi - unfortunately I do NOT have the plug-in. It was a trial and I removed it. But for some reason, the CC installer seems to think it's still around and I don't know how to get rid of it.

How do I install the RC updates to my PS CC, camera raw and Lightroom? I have downloaded the correct versions from the Lab site but I still can't open my Nikon D-610 RAW files. The site says follow on screen instructions but I have not found any. Help please.

Please ensure that for CC you have downloaded ACR 8.3 - CC:

Please extract the downloaded .zip file to Desktop and then run .exe file.
After successful installation try opening D610 files, This should work.
