I just can't update!
I have down loaded more than 150 apps so far which more than fills my home screens even if i just have the essentials but the worst thing is it won't let me update my apps! I think this is because iPhone needs a new space for each download before it replaces the old version but its a pain and i dont know why there's a limit or why it can't overwrite. But does anyone know about the limit or anything?
What happens when you try to update an app? Have you tried updating in iTunes (on the computer)?
You are limited to 9 home screens, so you can add 131 apps to the iPhone. If you cannot update, you may be right - try removing of apps (leave them on your computer in iTunes, just uncheck them to get them off the iPhone), then try updating.

I just can't update to X.4.4 from X.4.3
Hello to everybody.
Here is my problem...
I'm running a X.4.3 on my PowerBook Ti 1Ghz, and each time I checked for updates, it never proposed me any OS update...
So, yesterday, I decided to download the MacOSXUpdate10.4.4.dmg from the Apple web site.
When I launched the install, it always stopped, saying: "You can't install this update on this volume. This volume doesn't have the requested specification for this update."
Why can't I proceed this update?
Does my computer won't support X.4.4?
Does anybody got an idea?

JilooWhen you look at the Support-Downloads page, for each OS update, you will see a Mac OS X Update 10.4.x and a Mac OS X Update 10.4.x Combo for both PPC and Intel.
The Combo updates are larger but provide all the necessary changes to go from 10.4.0, or anywhere after, to the stated version. The non-combo, "Delta", updates are smaller but provide only step-by-step updates–10.4.3->10.4.4, 10.4.5->10.4.6, 10.4.6->10.4.7, etc.
When you run Software Update (from the Apple Menu) it should show the correct version. If not, that is a problem. If you look in /Library/Receipts- Do you have a file named MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.3PPC.pkg or something similiar? -

iOS 7 is compatible with the 5th generation iPod touch, and any older iPod isn't supported. As iOS 7 doesn't show up as an update, your device isn't supported -
Can't update vault - icon is pale red
For some reason I can't seem to be able to update my vault. The drive is connected and appears in the vault pane, but the update vaults icon is a pale red. Update All Vaults in the File menu is also grayed out. There is over 200GB available on the drive, I don't get any error messages, and I can create a new vault on the same drive. I just can't update any of them.
I searched here for answers, but couldn't find anything. So if any one has any advice please let me know.

had the same problem and fixed it like this:
In Preferences remove ..aperture.plist
Log out as the current user
Log in as a different user (maybe you´d have to create one)
Start Aperture
Close Aperture
Log out
Log in as "yourself"
Start Aperture
Use ShiftR to show Vaults
Now it should work again as usual, worked for me, that is

I've purchased and a computer technician installed on my PC a brand new MSI GTX580 TwinFrozr 2 OC...!!
The problem is that my GTX580 has the old BIOS Version and i have to update it....!!! No matter how many times i tried to update it with Live update 5 it didn't work at all...!!! Live update 5 doesn't begin at all ..it always pops up an error message...!! Then i did a research in the forum and tried to update the BIOS with the Method of a USB stick Boot...... i did the exact things as needed but i just can't update it at all....!!! Will MSI release another Version of Live Update that it will work.???? Is there another way to update to the latest BIOS under Win7 .???? I have Win7 32-bit version....!!! Please help me, i'm freaked out ...!! I paid almost 500 Euro for this Card...!!!

My first gen iPod touch won't allow me to update any apps after I upgraded it. It tells me I have app updates, when I try to update, it tells me it cannot connect to the itunes store. It always did before. What am I overlooking? I'm signed in to my account, I don't have anything turned off in the settings menu. Lil' help!
I can download NEW apps and Music through iTunes. I just can't update the apps I already have.

I had to change my Apple ID and password in itunes. Now my icloud doesn't work and I can't update my apps on my iPhone. I have looked at suggestions on the community pages and apple suggestions but none of them are relevant to iOS 8.1.2
icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I just downloaded the updates and now my mail doesn't work. It says I now need a newer version of OS to allow I've to open my mail which I can't right now
What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.

my ipod tells me my apple id password is wrong even though I just changed the password. I can log on via my desktop, but the ipod continues to tell me that the password is incorrect, so I can't update any apps. when I continue to to try to enter the correct password in it finally freezes the account, and I have to go online via my desktop to fix that problem. I have two apple id's because when my ipod crashed I had to reset it completely. I have never had any problems with this before, and it has been a year since I got my second id, which is linked to the ipod. My first id is used for the cloud on the same device. My wife suggested I reset documentson the cloud for the second id, however, when I try to log on the cloud with my current id, it tells me I have to set up the cloud on that device, but it is already done, but with the old id.

I have a 3rd generation iPod Touch and just did the update to IOS 5. Now I can't connect to my Netgear wifi router. My iPhone connects fine along with all of my other laptops etc. I have the router set with WPA-PSK [TKIP] security and an access list. I've confirmed the mac address is included on that list and that the password is correct. Under choses netwrok I select the network and it just goes into a spin. I have tried removing the password and the access list settings and it still will not complete the connection to the router thus no internet access. The routers firmware is also up to date. This thing worked fine before this update and I've already tried to restore from backup. Any ideas or is the wifi nic bad in this thing with the new apple firmware update? Any fix?
Thanks Bob, I don't know why but it all of a sudden worked a few days later. It's a mystery but at least problem solved.

i need help!??? i just tried to update my ipod and now its making me restore it on itunes and it wont complete the restoring process. Its giving the warning that the updated software server couldn't be reached. Can anybody help????
