I just finished my audition trial and bought the subscription the 2014 version.
i just finished my audition trial and bought the subscription. i updated and now it will no longer work . it starts but closes stating it is trying to initialize DLMS file. what do i need to do? Even the help chat technician could not find the problem with the 2014 version.
I have a Windows 8.1 operating system 64-bit

And then it again said Adobe audition cc 2014.0 has stopped working. It also states a problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if there is a solution available
Dennis Linam: I have also use the delete button and it says exactly what I just stated

Dennis Linam: it stalls and says trying to initialize DLMS. it opens the addition screen with only a white screen, and the file edit multitrack clip effects, favorites views Windows and help bar at the top.

Pradeep: Under the processes tab in Task manager, If there are any Adobe processes running, end all of them.
Pradeep: The Adobe processes are AAM updater, AAM notifier, Adobe crash demon, CEF helper, IPC broker, Coresync.
Pradeep: Also, if you locate any other, end them.
Dennis Linam: I noticed some of the background processes are 32-bit does it matter that I have 64-bit on my computer
Dennis Linam: I am sorry the Adobe CEF helper is 32-bit
Pradeep: You can end all of them.
Dennis Linam: it does not allow me to shut down two of the four of them I have 6 applications running Adobe auditions Adobe creative cloud and firefox task manager and windows explorer
Pradeep: Apart from Firefox, you can end all other processes.
Dennis Linam: if I shut down Firefox and Windows Explorer. My computer will's restart and we will lose connection?
Pradeep: Yes. If you end firefox, the chat will be ended
Dennis Linam: okay the only thing that is open is Firefox and the task manager and Windows Explorer
Pradeep: Alright. Please check the list of Background processes. Under that, if there are Adobe processes, any other, end them.

"You can try opening Audition by holding down the Shift key whilst clicking on the Audition icon. This should bypass any settings that Audition may have installed and just use the defaults. However I am not sure that this will work if Audition fails to find the link to DMLS on launch. You probably need some suggestions from one of the developers who might turn up here after the weekend.
I noticed looking at Audition's start up log that it looks for the DMLS link by loading "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclink\7.0\dynamiclinkmanager.exe". So it might be worth checking that that .exe is installed in that location on your PC.
Have you checked to see that DLMS support is turned on in Preferences/Media & Disk Cache?"
what I did:
I tried using the a shift key and the program loaded with only the file bar at the top with a white page, none of the file menus at the top. The screen would work. and after a few minutes, Windows asked to close the program because it was not responding.
I do have dynamiclinkmanager.EXE in the file extension...C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclink\7.0\dynamiclinkmanager.exe
I have completely taken the cloud program and the audition program off the computer using the control panel uninstall program feature
I reloaded both programs, the cloud program and audition 2014 with update.
I then turned off the computer and turned it back on using the restart Windows method and tried to start audition again, but had exactly the same results.
I was told to check the DL MS and make sure the preference is turned on. I cannot open the program to do this so I do not know any way of completing this process without a program that opens.
The funny thing is, the trial version worked perfectly, but when I bought the reoccurring payment program and the cloud updated 2014 audition, It never worked again. I am a student and an intern, and this program is vital to my success in school and with the radio station I am interning with. I would appreciate someone who is a technician or a programmer to help me fix this problem, or I will be forced to delete the program and stop my subscription.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I appreciate any help you can give me to get this audition program started

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that iTunes is not opening after uninstalling and re-installing it. When iTunes is uninstalled on a Windows computer, all of its components must be removed as well and they must be removed in a specific order. Below is the article for uninstalling on Windows 7. I recommend uninstalling iTunes and all components in order and reinstalling fresh.

If you have ThunderBolt, I would go with such for an External Working Drive, spinning platter or SSD depending on your budget
This does not have to be huge just big enough to house your most current Jobs
Once the Current Job is put to rest I would move it to a larger multi bay hard drive unit, USB or FireWire nothing fancy, no RAID, set up as one single Disk
This would only be accessed when something is needed from a past Job so the connection does not have to be speedy
The Drobo would be relegated to Vaults and backups
You can set up a Vault on the Drobo to back up the External Working Library and then Reconnect it when you have moved the Library over to the other Enclosure
This has worked for me pretty smoothly for a long while, but I have found over the years that one can not assume all people work in the same manner! :-) -

on prepaid you can get any device you like.
But you pay upfront.
People on post paid get the advantage of reduced priced devices on contracts. Prepaid is no contracts.
Any carrier will function the same way. Go online and check out Verizon pre paid policy and then look at the other carriers.
Maybe prepaid from Walmart or Boost Mobile, or Cricket etc. would be best for you. Pay for all you can eat calling, texting and data for one low price. Say $45-$55 and buy the phones they offer.

For some reason this seems to happen to some. It may be that you have a date issue on the machine and Acrobat noted it. By the way, Adobe is the name of the company, not a product.
I have no idea how Adobe sets and tracks the trial information. It may be there is something else that has caused an issue and Acrobat thinks you have already had the trial on the system and uninstalled it. As far as I know, there is nothing you can do. You might be able to check with sales to see if there is a work-around, but users can do nothing to help you.
Sorry, hope you can find a way to test the product. It might also be related to the version of Windows that you did not state. -

Hello, I just got an iPhone 4S and it seems that the bluetooth function in it doesn't work. I tried few times to pair it to other non Apple phones but it never worked. Does anyone has an idea how to solve the problem? Tks.
This is not a feature of iPhone, iPad or iOS.
Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone
devices/headsets, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the
app store and internet tethering where provided by the carrier.

my MacBook desktop wallpaper has dissapeared and now its just a blue screen? and my toolbar at the bottom of the screen has dissapeared as well. Please can someone help !!?
Try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder (it has a small house icon) in the Sidebar on the left.
Now open the Library folder then the Prefernces folder.
Move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash. Restart your Mac one more time. -
So we just got a new Macbook and I also installed the apple configurator tool. I'm using it to prepare the iPads for deployment and it won't let me prepare them? It gets an error stating "retrieving iOS info from apple" then it stops and says "internet error". My Internet connection is fine with the Mac-book. It shows the iPad is listed under the Prepare logo up top as 1 but under supervise none are shown. Although it does show itself in iTunes. Also the profile I created is fresh and has no errors. We have tryed nearly everything I cna think of and online forums are not giving us to much info on this error.

The Adobe auto updater is pretty decent in CS6. Just go to the Photoshop Help menu > Updates.
You will be able to update ACR, Photoshop and Bridge right there, if there are in fact updates available. -
I just got a new IPAD and transferred everything through the cloud from my old IPAD 2. The new one says "this IPAD is currently being restored. It has been that way for over two hours. Also, I Books opens and then closes right away with no content. Does it take this long, or is there an issue?
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

If you plug your phone into your computer you can sync and backup so that when you get the new phone you can restore from a backup instead of setting it up as a new iphone

Jtable on JScrollPane get corrupted for large number of rows
