I just got my iphone 4s today and came home and plugged it into my itunes and restored it to my account but something is wrong it seems to have gone to the setting that I had on my iphone 4. How do I get it back to how I had it?
I just got an iphone 4s and went to itunes to get all the stuff that I had on my last phone onto my new phone. I think that I have put all my setting for my old phone onto my new phone. My old phone being a iphone 4. Is there anyway I can get my phone back to how I got it earlier today?
No, no one here can help you, & neither can/will Apple. Only Orange can authorize the unlocking of your phone, & typical of most carriers, they will only do so for customers using the phone on their network.
Either establish service with Orange, then request the phone be unlocked, or sell it to someone that can use it on their network.

It's a trust issue. You can set them up so you don't receive each other's messages as long as you each have your own email address.
The trust issue is the fact that either of you can change the separation at any time via Settings by checking the appropriate (inappropriate?) email address.
To be absolutely sure you can never receive each other's messages will require two Apple IDs. -

Thanks for your reply. I've tried resetting a few times. There is no 'tick' next to the name of my wireless connection so it won't connect at all. I think I may have to do something with my router as there is an arrow button to press next to my wireless name, this takes me to a screen which asks for IP address, then has options for DHCP BootP and Static, it asks for Client ID DNS etc - all gobbledegook to me!! Perhaps my router is blocking the Ipod?

itunes wont open at all, error message : quicktime was not found .... please reinstall ... i did that but no luck this only seems to have happened since the 10.4 update, im on windows 7 ..
Can you start QuickTime on your computer?
You'll probably have to search for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and use it to remove QuickTime Player and iTunes. Then download and install the iTunes again. -
Premiere elements 13 keeps asking me to connect to internet to register the product but my internet is fine. I have gone through the forum to get help (validation of internet, validation of the ability to access secure servers, the validity of the ceritificate....) but nothing is working for me. Would someone have additional info. to handle this situation ? Thanks

Just got an iPhone 3GS, How do I connect to home WiFi network?
I posted this in the network discussion as well, but wasn't getting answers and I need to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
I just got my brand new iPhone 3GS. I just recently finished fully charging it and activating it. I am exploring my new device but I am getting extremely frustrated as to connecting to WiFi. I want to use WiFi for web browsing, but when I go to WiFi on my iPhone it says No Networks (or something of the sort). I try to enter in the name of my network (which I know). But I don't know what kind of security OR the password to the network.
I really want to enjoy this phone/gadget but I don't know how to set it up to connect to my network.
Can somebody help me in telling me where I can find the security type and password to my network.
Thanks!Sounds like you (or a buddy who helped you) setup your home network to Cloak its SSID (name). Thus as you said, you need to manually enter it.
But from there, you will also need to know any Key (password) you set on it to join.
If you don't know those items, not much we can do to help (now I could always drive on by fire up airrack-ng suite and break in for ya)
You can always go to your computer, try to access your router (odds are http://192.168.1.1 ) via your browser.
Then see what settings you can get to.
If it was locked down, then I suggest going to your routers website and read up how to reset the router (odds are button on back you have to hold in for 10 secs) which will reset the router back to default settings.
All devices will then have to re-join your default network (real manual that came with router or get one online before resetting).

Just got brand new macbook pro (13inch) and restored all data from old mac via time machine. Now when I p/back a track in logic I get audio drop out for 3-4 secs every 10 - 15 secs!! What is going on and what can I do? Its the same version of logic and all other functions seem fine!
First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

So my ipod was stolen, but I bought music on it from my account a couple days ago. I went on my pc and clicked on itunes and its not on there. I want to add my new music to my ipad now but i can't find the music.. well it doesnt show up on my purchased playlist.... Someone help me, pleaseee!!!!
If you sync your iPod to iTunes, it should be there, if not...
You can re-download all your iTunes purchases by logging into your iTunes Store account and selecting Purchases from the right-hand sidebar. -
All my playlists have gone inc. the ones that come with itunes - why???
I opened itunes today and for no apparent reason all my playlists have disappeared - even the recently played, recently added etc. The only one it didnt delete was Party shuffle. I don't know how to get them back and I really want them!! It's taken me ages to build up my playlists and I cant understand why they have suddenly disappeared. It didnt go wrong due to a recent upgrade or me fiddling around - they were literally there one day and gone the next. I still have all my music tho. Is there any way to get them back?? I particularly miss my recently played list! Also I dont want to attach my ipod in case it get rid of the playlists that are on there too. Help!
Well, I sure can't answer the why, but I've been there too!
I found software called Senuti that will copy a playlist from an iPod back into iTunes, without copying all the music files back in if they're already there. It sure felt like a lifesaver to me!
Just make sure you have iTunes set to manually manage your music so it won't update the iPod automatically.

That is perfectly normal with the new iPad. Your USB port does not supply enough power to charge the iPad. This is copied from Apple's web site about the iPad battery.
