i just replaced my i phone, it got wet! but not all my tunes have been down loaded onto my new i phone as i hadnt synced my phone since buying them. i believe i tunes can send me them, so i dont have to buy them again, but how do i achieve this?

There really is nothing more to say than what Allan has already said, but to explain just a little further, what you may have read is that once you purchase an iOS app in the app store, you do not have to purchase it again if you need to download it to another iOS device. In other words once you buy the app, you can load it onto unlimited iPhones, iPod Touches or iPads.
You must be using the same iTunes account that you originally purchased the app with in order to download it again. But as Allan said, just because you have it on your Mac does not entitle you to download it free to your iPad.

You're being lied to. There is no code. The unlock process is summarized as follows:
You request an unlock from the carrier
Your carrier enters the request into their system
time passes...and passes...and passes

Hopefully this will help you. Try placing your iPad in recovery mode again. You may have to try this a few times.
iOS: Unable to update or restore

I have an iphone 3 and outlook 2010. I cleaned up all my outlook contacts and tried to sync but not all of the existing contacts on my phone show up in outlook. Is there a way to sync all numbers on iphone to oulook so I can clean them up from my desktop?

I have an Iphone 3 and use Outlook 2010. I just recently tried to sync with my desktop using Itunes and once they were synced I cleaned up alot of the contacts using outlook but when I tried to sync them not all the information from outlook made it to my iphone. Additionally, there are a lot of contacts in my iphone that are not showing up in outlook. I have tried several things but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

So after looking a bit closer i have noticed that when i have the phone plugged into the computer it shows the songs but when i dont have it plugged in and i go so the song icon on the bottom of the music menu screen it says i have no songs!

I got a new windows computer and I can't transfer all of my music to it from my old computer. I have some music on my phone but not all of it so when I plug it in only some of my music shows up and none of my playlists.

I got a new Lenovo Windows computer and I'm trying to transfer my iTunes library to my new computer. I can't figure out how. I tried plugging in my iPhone and it synched what music was on my phone but I don't have my entire library on my phone and none of my playlists transferred. I tried authorizing my computer and it is but it still isn't showing up. I turned on my homesharing on my new and old computer but apparently I have two other computers I have authorized and I don't know which ones they are, probably ones that have been thrown out. iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

HT4972 I have lost most (but not all) of the phone numbers from Contacts.

This is my work iphone, connected to my work MS Exchange account. First I upgraded to iOS5, but that caused the 3G connection to stop working (my phone contacts were still there at that point). The IT guy at work eventually fixed the 3G connection - it was something to do with the profile being blocked, I don't know exactly, and I don't know what he did to get it working. However, whatever he did, it caused most of the phone numbers in Contacts to disappear. Unfortunately they're not in my Contacts in Outlook either, so I can't restore them from there.
I guess the most likely option is to restore them from the backup that occurred during the iOS5 upgrade - can someone suggest how I can do that? Or any other ideas?

Contacts are not completely backed up as part of the iPhone backup. Only contacts necessary to back up your recent call and favorites lists are backed up, which often won't include all your contacts. (In fact, if the IT person backed up and then restored your phone from backup that may be how he lost many of your contacts.) Also, restoring from backup will revert all settings and data on your phone to those contained in the backup. If you want to try to restore from your backup anyway follow this procedure:
Before connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer, go to Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent…from syncing automatically"
Now connect your phone to your computer and import your photos to avoid losing any recent photos (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
Open iTunes and when your phone appears on the left sidebar, right-click on its name and choose Transfer Purchases (to transfer any recent purchased into your iTunes library)
Right-click on the name of her phone again and choose Restore from Backup, choosing the backup you wish to restore from
When this completes you can go back and re-enable automatic syncing if you prefers this

Ever since the last Firefox upgrade installed, when I go to Wikipedia most, but not all, of the links and titles (books, movies, songs, etc.)are in something that looks like Zapf Chancery font. It is very difficult to read... how do i change it?

It never looked like that before. The cursive font shows up on every page of wikipedia, only when I use Firefox as my browser. I have gone to the same site on Safari and it is fine there. I have emptied my cache to no avail.

Thanks for your help. I followed your link to a similar question/reply and just decided to deactivate the Zapfino font. It fixed that part of the problem but there is still some smaller type in a different cursive font (Apple Chancery like but that's not it). Can't figure out what it is in order to disable it but i think I can at least live with that one.

How can I move some files (but not all) in the photostream folder on my PC to another folder on the PC?

I have photostream set up on my PC and all photos in both mine and shared photostreams are successfully being synced to my PC automatically. However, my goal is to navigate to the photostreams on my PC and be able to move them and edit the photos with other software I have. I'd like to move more one at a time as I have 100's. This would help me better sort them as well as free up some much needed space on my iCloud account as I don't need all these photos available at all times, but also don't want to lose them. Is there a way that I can do this? I really appreciate any help I can get.

Your my photo stream folder should operate the same way other folders do. First go to the iCloud control panel for Windows and click Options next to Photo Stream. Here, note you photo steam location (listed at the bottom). Navigate to the photo stream folder at that location, then open the my photo stream folder inside. Right-click on the my photo stream folder, select copy, navigate to a location of your choice, then right-click and select paste. Click on the copied folder, press your F2 key and rename it something like Photo Stream Backup. Then you should be all set.
