I just installed itunes on my new laptop. Obviouslly its empty and I have all the data I need on my iphone 4. How can I transfer all my photos and albums on my iphone to my PC without erasing them on my phone???

If the Migration Assistant won't do it, move them over as you would any other folder; they're located in the Pictures and Music folders of your home folder by default. The iPhoto library needs to be transferred via a drive, partition, or disk image formatted as Mac OS Extended or through an AFP network share.

Since I updated my phone and installed itunes on my new laptop, none of the songs I purchased from itunes will work. NOT HAPPY.

it looks as though i have to download them all again because next to each song on both my phone and laptop there is a cloud with a red arrow.

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?

hi really looking for help here!!! not extremely technical but i'll give it my best go....
i'm trying to install itunes onto a new laptop its a compaq with windows 7. it belongs to a friend and it never had i tunes on it before. i have tried downloading itunes from the main apple site, however when it begins installing the download stalls around 7 or 8% and thats it. have admin access, deleted temp internet files already. I just dowloaded itunes on my new laptop. I am unable to find or access my previous itunes library. I "authorized homeshare" and it said it was completed. I just can't find the icon to open my old music library - where it says "purchased/recently added/most listened to" etc. Can someone guide me?
