I just installed the newest version of iTunes on my PC and when I try to open iTunes it says the copy is corrupted?

I have Windows 7 and I just installed the newest version of iTunes on my PC. Now whenever I try to open iTunes an error message comes up that the file is corrupt or wasn't installed properly. How do I reinstall the update or fix the problem?

It was telling you that you needed Mac OS 10.6.8 or later, not itunes 10.6.8

Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).
I have absolutely no faith in their advice; however, in this case, it's not so much technical advice, but an answer to your questions: you paid for something and it appears not to be there.

It sounds like your downloaded archive file the big is eithe corrupt or not where it should be. That file is a 7Zip file which can be extracted with 7zip. If the downloaded file is bad delete it and download it again Download CS5 products

Updated iTunes and when I try to open it I get the following error message:

then i hit the ok and get this message.
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127)
I have tried reinstalling the program to no avail.

Try deleting iAdCore.dll from within C:\Program Files\iTunes or C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes then running a repair of iTunes from within the Programs and Features Control Panel.
If that doesn't work see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may need to tear it all down and reinstall as described in the second box.

I am tying to install Firefox for the first time. SO, if that is the case, how can any of these various files exist? I cannot access the contents of my "Application support" folder.
I have tried to delete Firefox and start over, and the same error message comes up.
I guess my frustration is how can I have a profile if I do not have Firefox installed?

I install adobe acrobat 7.0 in windows 8.1 and when I try to open it I get "application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000fd) click OK to close application". This is a new computer and all other software works fine.

As Acrobat 7 is not supported by Windows 8, you might need to update the supported Adobe Acrobat version.
