I just logged back in and suddenly found that my my My Music playlist had been wiped.
I just logged back in and suddenly found that my my My Music playlist had been wiped except for the last track.This is genuinely depressing for me as I had probably hours of that giant playlist built up that I would leave on shuffle throughout the day, is there any way I can get any of that back? I know i didn't just wipe it as So Happy I could Die by Lady Gaga (the last song I added) is still on there.

I'd reccommend you to contact support here so they can help you. They can restore playlists to previous states.
If you receive an automated email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.
Support usually answers within 24-48 hours.

I was on an online course website, logged in and working on an assignment. Suddenly the page disappeared and was not on the tabs either. I went to the home page and tried to log back in and it said I was already logged in on another browser window and if I proceeded to log in again the assignment I was working on would be ended and I would receive a zero. I can't locate the browser window that I was signed in on. Also please note that the online course site may have redirected you to another site for the test, so it is also a good idea to look into site entries that may match the time. -

Updating Snow Leopard won't help. You need to Upgrade OS X to Lion or higher if your system will support it. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
Lion system requirements are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)

If you can run Mavericks, you can download a free upgrade from the Mac App Store. My downloaded paid for video loses sound every 15 or so minutes, so I have to contstantly log out of iTunes and log back in and then it works - what's the problem (apart from what I've just said), does anybody know?
What ISP?
What router?
Who made it, what software?
Is it just the iPad ( Anything else using wifi at your place having problems? ) ?

My Macbook Pro's iTunes App was logged in as someone else. I logged out of that account and logged into mine, but I found that the app still shows all of the previous account's content. None of my apps, songs, or movies are there! iTunes 12.1.0.50 on OS X Yosemite version 10.10. Why is iCloud doing this, and how do I view my content again?
MacBook Pro / Mozilla Firefox / Netflix / Silverlight Update solved - DON'T DWNLOAD FROM NETFLIX
I solved this problem tonight. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8. I know, it's old. But I love my Netflix and I recently noticed that Firefox plays Netflix much better. Then I suddenly got this message that I needed to download the latest Silverlight - it only takes 30 seconds! - WRONG. However, after much searching, I finally did the steps in order and it worked.
This was after repeatedly downloading Silverlight from the Netflix site without success. So here's what I did:
1. Went to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx
2. Followed the directions. I felt like such an idiot for not doing it right before.
3. Go to your hard drive and search for "Silverlight" to locate ANY existing Silverlight files: .dmg, etc.
[also check your Libary/ Internet Plug-ins, but the above search is faster]
4. Drag it all to the trash and empty it.
5. Go back to the Get Silverlight page and click on the Install on that page, not the Netflix site.
6. Note the steps for Safari or Mozilla Firefox - I wanted Firefox, so I follwed those instructions.
7. Once it's installed, close all the browsers and Restart that bad boy. Right away.
8. Open a browser, go to Netflix and proceed to joyfully rot your brain with Netflix content. Yay! -
I have found that at least 3 music videos that I had previously purchased are not available in my I-tunes music video list. I paid for them over a year ago, why are they not accessible, and why did they just disappear from my lists?
Have you deleted anything from your iTunes library ? Have you checked to see if they are still on your computer, but not listed in your iTunes library ?
If not then do they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If they don't show there and others do and they are still in your country's store, then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If they are no longer in your store for redownloading (or you aren't in a country where music videos can be redownloaded) then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your library/downloads. -
I rented a movie to play on my iPad. With 28min remaining the picture froze but the counter kept running. No sound. I tried everything....I reset my iPad...logged out of iTunes and logged back in and opened movie. It stopped at the same spot the next time

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,

I just upgraded to Mavericks and suddenly youtube does not display correctly although other sites work fine. I am using the newest MacBook Air. Any suggestions?

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Back to Safari. Press Command + Option + E to empty the Safari cache.
Quit and relaunch Safari, try a video. -
I'm trying to buy more storage on my iPad but when I get to the "buy" button, it has my old Apple ID and I can't go any farther. I've changed my Apple ID on all my devices, logged out, logged back in, rebooted, etc., but that one area still has old one.
You can't buy more storage on an iPad. You are referring to space on iCloud and that probably won't accomplish what you are trying to do.

Go into your Airport Utility and click on the wireless tab then click the drop down to turn it off.

I just got my Mac and I used my family Apple ID. It had all of my parent's information, I added my e-mail.I wanted to make my own Apple ID, but I couldn't use the same e-mail address again! How do I delete this information so I can make my own Apple ID?

It is not clear how or where you "added" your email, but you cannot create an Apple ID using an email address that is already associated with another Apple ID.
If that is what you did, delete that email address from your family's Apple ID. You should be free to create a new one.
Do all that by starting here: https://appleid.apple.com/
Select "Manage your Apple ID". Log in with your family's Apple ID and then delete your own email address wherever it appears.
Save Changes, log out, and create the new one using the same website. This time select "Create an Apple ID".
Please don't forget your security questions, and be sure to specify a "rescue email address" that is separate from all other Apple IDs. You will avoid so many problems that way... -

It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?
