Create a NEW account/ID using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

My iPad 2 has never been "paired" with any PC. My one and only PC is corrupted and will not, after many many attempts, download iTunes. When I turn on my iPad it insists that I connect to my iTunes. How can I avoid this and just get the iPad to work like normal? Any help is much appreciatedYou cannot do anything with the iPad until you do as instructed by the iPad and connect to iTunes on a computer.
You probably need to restore the iPad and the only way to do that is via iTunes on a computer.
Take it to an Apple Store and ask for help at a Genius bar or take it to a friend's house that is running iTunes on their computer and try to restore it.
You will lose all of your data and settings now because you never backed the iPad up in the past. -
i cant get my Appstore to work because it has locked up because i tried to answer my security questions and failed to do it. it wanted verification because it said it was my first time on the App Store but it isn't. I have many books on three devices. They are in WAV format with each part most likely less than 200 MB, I've heard of the new thing ITunes Match where all your WAV music is stored and can be accessed by any device. I don't listen to much music so it would be a waste if it is only good for WAV MUSIC And not WAV BOOKS. DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION. Sorry about caps I also type slow.
Sorry if this comes to late, I just now came across this thread. I have rtorrent and rutorrent sunning successfully on my x64 Arch Linux install.
Try putting the "SCGIMount /RPC2 127.0.0.1:5000" line in your httpd.conf file right after the LoadModule lines (it's line 124 for me).
I seem to recall it not working when I put it at the end of the file.

My IPOD is already synced to iTunes. My friend just acquired an iPhone and he wants to purchase an app through my iTunes. Can he use my iTunes to install the app to his iPhone without screwing up my IPOD information already on my iTunes? Also, how does he install ONLY that app on his iPhone without syncing my music also? I haven't done this before with just an app. Thanks.
Since you and your friend aren't married or in the same household (I assume you wouldn't have referred to this person as "my friend" otherwise), what you want to do is not permitted by the terms of use of the iTunes Store.
Your friend should create his own Apple ID. He can use your computer; just have him log into your computer with a user account you create just for him, not your own user account. Doing it that way is almost like having your friend use a different computer, since both Mac OS X and recent versions of Windows do a pretty good job of segregating the data of multiple user accounts.
He can then purchase the app using iTunes and sync it to his iPhone. When he's done, he should log out of your computer.
However, be aware that there is no reason to purchase an app using iTunes on a computer and to then sync it to the iPhone. Your friend can use the App Store app that's installed on the iPhone by default in order to download and install any app he likes from the iTunes App Store. -
I just received a new mac and I am trying to sync my ipod to it but everytime I try it stays stuck on the "backing up" section of the sync. I have already unauthorized my other computers like the instructions said to but that did nothing. Please tell me what I should do or how to back up my device.

I was able to transfer my music from my old PC to my new one and connect to the newest version of ITunes but my playlists from my old PC do not appear on my new PC when I open ITunes. Any suggestions?
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

ThanksIt is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

I bought an iPhone 4 from a youngster who had put his own Apple ID on it but could not remember the password. I backed it up yesterday and restored to my new iPhone and it copied the Apple ID across too. Now I have 2 phones with it on. Anything I do?

when you start using iCloud on any iOS device and enable find my iPhone, this prevents a new user from using it, and also prevents anyone from using the phone
as it is locked to previous owners account ,this is also the case if when a phone is lost or stolen.
the only way around this is to have the previous owner reset their apple id by going to @ applied.apple.com
if they are unable to do this, then the only other way around this is to have the previous owner get a copy of their original receipt and call apple support who can then lift this lock if they get a copy of the receipt

You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

I am having a problem with Internet on my ipad, I am connected to my WIFI and am receiving emails but any App that requires internet connection will not work, this includes Safari. Everything worked fine until yesterday.
I too, am having this problem. I have the new iPad. I have a full strength wifi signal (currently at home and with my personal hotspot) but apps that need the internet including google chrome and safari do not search. Safari says "safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." other apps just spin like it is searching for a signal or something. Frustrating, because it was working, it seems to have taken this route after uploading some new apps, but can't pinpoint. Help! Please!

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.
