Hi I was so excited today to get my 100 page. Iphoto book. However on 3 of the map pages my maps have not printed. It's the first 3 in the book and the names of the countries are there just no pics of the maps. I checked my PDF and they where there. What can I do?

How do i make an official complaint about an app? They have stopped access to my account and are trying to extort money via paypal (skirting Apple) to allow me access again!! Who might i contact regarding this behavior? Does Apple have a code of ethics required for apps?
Ive used this app for a couple years now, invested a significant amount of money developing my account over that time (close to a couple of grand id say). The Apps support wont discuss the situation, just demand the cash to reopen my account. There is no anual fee or anything.... Its extrordinary behavior to now be faced with this loss of investment.
I dont wish to go into more detail in the public domain but your help in directing me to the apropriate contact/department would be greatly apreciated. I'm located in Australia.

I have just upgraded to iPhoto 11. Now all the faces I had named in my iPhoto library are unnamed. How do I fix this?
Restore a Known-good back up and update that to iPhoto 11.

Just updated to Iphoto 9.1.3 but the slideshow feature not working at all. Screen goes white but any features selected, nothing is produced .The themes preview windows are blank too. is there something missing?

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List. -
I`ve just bought a Mac Book pro 15", did the required updates and since two days ago it freezes. Now I can´t even start the computer. the screen is allways white. how can I solve this issue??
The same thing happened to me... Since two days the ******* thing keeps freezing after a while. Then I try to reboot and the screen goes white and it doesn't boot. If I wait like half an hour it boots again.
I thought it was a hardware problem, but the Apple Hardware Test founds nothing at all. I think it has to do with the software update I performed 2 days ago.

I have subscribed to Adobe Export PDF for one year and paid the fee per my credit card. I just received an sms to inform me of the amount of R230.61 was deducted today by Adobe Systems Software. If you have charged for another year, please cancel that service and refund me as I did not request renewal for another year. I don't find this service very useful as documents converted to Word is not really usable when trying to do changes and amendments to the document.

when i open iphoto i see my photo's for 1 second and then they are gone .The photo's are still there but i can see them only on the bottom or top of my screen when i try to open them i get a sign that it is not possible.Can somebody please help me?
Have you upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 for compatibility with Yosemite? If not, try that first.
It looks like iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the original image files.
This can be caused by a corrupted iPhoto library, or the originals have been deleted or moved.
Try first to rebuild your iPhoto Library:
If you do not have a current backup of the iPhoto library, make a copy of the library, but do not overwrite any previous backup.
Launch iPhoto with the ⌥⌘-key combination (option-command) held down.
Select "rebuild" from the first aid panel. This may take a while for a large library.
Can you now see your photos again?
If not, rebuild the library with iPhoto Library manager as described by Old Toad: Re: iphoto crashed -

I made an iPhoto book but now all the images are gone?
I recently made a book in iPhoto and never finished it. When I re-open the book in iPhoto, the formatting and all the text exists but the images are all gone. Is there a way to try and rebuild it? Thanks-M
Do the following: make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory. -
IPhoto book - no photos in the panel.
Help! My photos don't appear in the photo pane to the right of the project, in this case a book. Even for existing projects with photos in them. Bottom right button produces a blank pane; doesn't matter what option at the top is chosen (all photos in the project, unplaced photos, etc.) This was working, up until this morning - now doesn't. Did I click on something I shouldn't have?
In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

When I clicked on the recent Apple Security Software Update, it took 15-20 minutes to install, and another 15 minutes or more to restart. Then everything was amazingly slow, as if nothing was happening... spinning gears, spinning color wheels. The background universe image took forever to load. Desktop took a long time to load. Then Mail and Safari took a long time to load. What has happened? Was this update legit? I'm thinking it was the legitimate listed 7-2-2013 update for 10.6.8, but in my 15 years of Apple loyalty, I've never experienced an update that bogged my system down like this.
Not enough free space on the startup disk can cause the issues you are referring to.
Control click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop then click Get Info.
You'll see: Capacity & Available
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
If it's not a disk space issue, verify the disk for errors.
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If Disk Utility reports problems, you will need to insert your install disc to make repairs.
And if you have not done so lately, backup all your important data just in case. -
