I just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6 and now my calendar, contacts, etc. are gone. Is there any way to get this info back?
I just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6 and now my calendar, contacts, notes, etc. are gone. Is there any way to get that information back? I thought those things were automatically backed up in the first step of the update process.
The only restore I can find is from 2010.

Help, please!! I recently upgraded to a new Iphone 4S from a 3..I could not upgrade the software so plugged it into my pc and connected to Itunes. It asked me if I wanted to use it as a new phone or restore to my phone, (not being very computer literate, I of course chose restore) So now I have a phone that only has info for contacts from October!! I lost all new contacts, messages, etc. Is there a way to get back those contacts, etc? Thanks!

I just got a 5s and had taken some pictures. Then I plugged it into my PC and set it up using my previous backup from my iPhone 4. Now the pictures I had taken are gone, is there any way to get them back?!

<Edited by Host>Does she normally sync to the MAC? IF she does, she can restore her phone from a backup, if she has one.
If she doesn't normally sync to the MAC then she can sync back to her PC and then restore to her backup.

I have a Mac and can no longer minimize the firefox window by double clicking the title bar into my dock since I updated to Firefox's latest version. How do I get this feature back?
I've always been able to minimize all my windows by double clicking the title bar. Yes, I could click the yellow button -- I just want the old feature back because I do it so automatically. Now when I double click the title bar it opens a new tab. I was able to do this with all the previous versions of Firefox as well.

I have only heard bad things about the ios6 update, hence why i have been postponing up dating it.

I backed my iPhone up on 08-23-2013. I lost my phone and I had to get another one. When I went retrieve my info it is was no longer there. Is there a way to retrieve?
Check the iOS version on your new phone (Settings>General>About>Version). It must be the same or higher as the one you backed up or you won't be able to access the backup without first updating your phone.

Did you backup your iPhone to iTunes?
You can restore your iPhone from a backup.
If there are multiple backup devices, look for your backup and restore yoyr iPhone from that backup. -

If you have a backup of your phone, then go to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings. This will wipe your phone clean and you'll be able to restore from your backup.

I entered text on to my background layer and now I can not edit it. Is there any way to edit this?
Please help! I am trying to make a Christian calendar and entered text on to my background layer and can not edit this. I have tried to duplicate the background layer so it is not locked but I still can not edit this text. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The text should be on its own layer. If so, you can delete the layer and start over.
If you have flattened the image layers, open the undo history palette, and go back to the state prior to flattening.
If you saved the original file as .PSD, then the layer structure should remain intact for further refinement in a subsequent session. -
I have updated to ios6 and pushed merge instead of don't merge. I have a few apps same as my husbands and now my data is on his ipad, is there any way I can unmerge or anything he can do to stop me taking over his apps?

No. When you restored the backup of the old computer it wiped out everything on the phone.
