i just updated my IPOD and now every app except the apps that come on it wont open.

- Reset the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- If not successful try downloading/installing a new app. Pick a small free app.

i thint the "yellow button" mean the toolsline.
this option was relocated to the right site, next to the search button/menu
if you want see the toolsline, left click the top of the window, and click to the toolsline button

Try resetting the Nano with it still connected to a high powered USB 2.0 port on your PC. To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Uhless this program will get the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore via iTunes.

Yahoo just updated my email and now the buttons on the left side are letters, not buttons. What happened and how do I fix it?

I like my Yahoo email, but they just updated it again and things are different again. Where there used to be buttons on the left side of my mail page to select for move, delete, or whatever, now there are rectangles with letters in them. They act the same, but are very distracting. How do I change it back so there is just a box to check?

Those missing icons are actually supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face) as you can see by the little boxes that show the hex code of the characters.
You can check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

I tried to update my iPod and now it's saying that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. What should I do?

I updated my iTunes and then went to update my iPod to the newer 4.2 version that it kept asking me to and now it says that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. My iPod is now unusbale because the screen on the iPod itself shows that i need to connect it to iTunes, but when I do, there's an error message that pops up telling me that iTunes cannot connect it. Help!! How do I fix this?!

Had to update my ipod and now the screen is white

My ipod needed to update, when i attached it to my macbook pro, it said it had to erase and re-install my software. It then said it couldnt do it and now my screen is white and my ipod is unresponsive

Reset
Have you tried rebooting the device? Hold down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. If this fails, connect it to a power source and try again holding them for at least 20 seconds.
Restore
Turn off device – Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider.
Open iTunes on your computer.
Press and hold down the Home button First then connect the cable to the computer.
Release Home button when connect to itunes appears on device.
iTunes will prompt a message that says, iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
Wait for the full restoration process to complete, Set up device “as new”.

Just updated to 7 and now the scroll function on my touchpad on my laptop doesn't work in Firefox. It works fine on all other programs and the scroll works fine on my USB mouse. Is there any way to fix this?

Using a relatively new Toshiba Satellite series laptop PC. Scrolling worked fine on whatever older version of Firefox I had (it's been a few months since the last time I updated before 7).

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

Because that app is no longer included in the iOS. You have to go to the App store and purchase the free YouTube app.

Ah, thanks for the correction Terence.
I didn't realise the earlier versions still worked. I know that when I upgraded to Mavericks I then had to upgrade from iPhoto 9.4.3 to 9.5 in order for it to work. I guess we need to know which version Ibarber4 is currently having problems with.

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
