I just updated the software on my 3GS and now, my apps just open quickly then close....what should i do?
I just updated my software, and now my apps won't work. They just open the close quickly....I've done a force quit, but it stills doesn't work! What can I do?
Have you tried a reset?

I fixed it!!
While not connected to any USB cable I put the iPad in recovery mode.
To do that turn the iPad completely off. Press and hold the home button while turning the iPad on, once you see the apple logo release the home button.
Turn on your OS X mac after it boots up connect the USB from iPod to Mac. iTunes should start. If not launch itunes.
Perform the factory restore process paying attention to all of the screen message windows. Then set up the ipad like it was new. -
I have the iphone 4s and just did the software 6.1.3 and now I can not zoom with the video, I have gon into settings and all but can not fix this did anyone else have this problem and how can I fix this? thanks
You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

Don't know where to get help. I just updated the software and I am having issues with not being able to update Aps or install new ones. The circles just spin and Aps just say "waiting." I tried running a diagnostic with the apple store and it came back with "power issues" (?) as a result. It wouldn't let me select an option to see what steps I could take to fix it, it just backed out of the page. I just don't know what to do.....

Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done. -
I just downloaded the updated software and now can't shut down open programs like I used to by holding downthe round button, having them appear at the bottom of the screen, holding them down for the "x" to appear and then closing them by clicking "x". I can get the program icons to appear, but don't know how to shut them off now.

I get a sim card not supported just after I have upgraded to the latest software offer by apple for my Iphone. It is requesting my to insert the sim card that came and I am afrid that may not be possible now. I have it it the card that was use earlier before the upgrade.
That indicates yourphone was hacked to unlock it before you upgraded. It has either now (best case) re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to, or (worst case) become a brick.

I just updated my IOS to 7.1 and now I can't open Microsoft attachments - I used to always do it. Help - I use my iPad for work and now can't see any attachments. I've tried opening straight into other apps and just get error messages, and I the mail preview there is just a grey screen telling me the file name and size. It worked fine until I did the IOS upgrade

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I just updated my IPad to IOS 50.1 and now I can not open my apps. When I try to open them the screen flickers and goes back to my regular screen. I tried a reboot and that did not help. Can someone please give me some advice on what will work. Thank you

If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information.
