I just updated to the newest version of Firefox and now none of my themes work. It's just all white and very hard to see.
I have windows XP, just updated to the newest version and not none of my themes work. It's just all white for my tabs and tool bar. Very hard to see. I've reinstalled the themes and nothing works.
Any ideas?
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

I just updated to the newest version of firefox for my mac laptop. It keeps crashing when I open the browser and does so even in safe mode. Laptop is about two years old. Might it be an issue with the OS? I have not updated to Leopard yet.
It seems that the problem is related to fonts.
(1) How were you updating your operating system ?
If you use *_Software Update_*, hurry up, download and apply the combo updater available from :

(2) if you didn't used *_Software Update_*, run a maintenance tool like the free MAINTENANCE available from :

Apply it to clear caches files, mainly those dedicated to fonts.
It would be also a good idea to check the health of your fonts with FontBook.

I am running an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Windows 7 Home Premium, with an HP SimplePass for security and password storage. With the previous Firefox, when I would open a website that had sign in and password information, the fingerprint icon would come up in the top left hand side, and I could swipe my finger and it automatically entered the information. When I recently updated to the latest version of firefox, this option is no longer available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on anoterh computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

Just updated to the newest version of iTunes, when connecting it prompts me to update my iPhone to the newest version of IOS; however, when I hit download it says I have purchases that need to sync but where and how do I do this on the newest version? It isn't doing it automatically and I am unable to find the sync button that was available on previous versions of iTunes. That needs to run ASAP before deleted files are overwritten.

I have just updated to the new version of Firefox. Eventhough, i have reboated my computor, Firfox prompts to do it again and again and would not open. The same things happen if i try to unistall it or redownload it. This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

i updated to the newest version of Firefox 0n th 19th of July and since then everytime I start Firefox all I get is a window that reads

All three of my computers have been totally worthless since I upgraded to FF3.66. Each are built/configured differently. Each has a different OS. Each has all the above problems. Crashes constantly, RAM & CPU usage on a Q9650 is always near 100%. After screwing around for days I finally came here and found out that I was among a very large and upset group of users. With the last few upgrade I've had minor problems with my selection of add-ons Firefox disabled them for a later fix. I found a new DL today, 3.67 so I installed it figuring the problem was addressed. After installation of 3.67 it still says it's 3.66??
I went to their site to find help from them and couldn't get anyplace until I came here and read about my problem. Thanks for giving me a clear head so I could find a good solution.
My solution was to remove all Mozilla/Firefox products and then install other browsing options. It felt funny because for the first time in years I had to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to find other options. My computer is problem free and fast as usual now.
I wonder how many other users have abandoned them due to this BS?? I for one will probably stick with my new choices now.

I ran the latest Numbers update and now I cannot open several of the Numbers files I created and saved previously. When I try, a box appears that says I need to update to a newer version of Numbers. I ALREADY updated to the newest version!!!! Any suggestions?

When you upgraded Numbers to the most recent version, the Mac App Store kept the old version in case you need it in the future. Your problem is that you are opening the old version by mistake instead of the new one.
To fix this, open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version (the one with the new icon) to the Dock. By doing this, you can access to the new Numbers version easily, so you will not open the old version by mistake anymore. Also, I recommend you to open the documents after opening Numbers. The same applies for all other iWork applications.

I now have the newest version of iTunes. My iPad is up-to-date as well. When I plug in the USB to my computer, it makes the proper sound, but I do not see the device identified in iTunes and therefore cannot sync it. Instead, it opens to the file location for my iPad. How do I connect iTunes to my iPad? It was working perfectly before I updated iTunes.

Just updated to the latest version of iTunes. Now my CD drive is can't read CDs.
Just updated to the most recent version of iTunes. Now my CD reader won't recognize any CDs or games I put in.
There is no error message, I hear the reader booting up but I get no box asking my to import files,play ect.
CDs don't appear on the drive in 'My Computer'
Tested the same CDs on another computer and they were recognized
CDs are commercial and from the libraryTry HT203242: iTunes for Windows: Optical drive is no longer recognized, or "Disc burner or software not found" alert after install (Formerly TS2308).

Unfortunately it can not be recommended that you go back to firefox 6, some of the fixes were security fixes, and firefox 6 is no longer considered secure or supported. ( Firefox 3.6.23 was updated and is still temporarily supported, but I doubt many would consider downgrading that far)

Check that all your extensions are up to date. Possibly it is due to a change in the version or combinations of themes plugins and add-ons that you use. You clearly have out of date plugins showing.
