I just upgraded to ITunes version  10.6.0.40 and now I am having trouble connecting to my Airport Express.  I get error message 15000.  I am connecting with an ethernet cable so it is not a wireless problem.  Any ideas?

    (7) Scroll down to "iTunes" and click Add button.
    (8) Click OK to exit.
    Change will take affect immediately. The problem stems from the fact that the 11.0.4.4 iTunes update makes a change to the iTunes core executable which is signifcant enough that the Windows Firewall fails to recognize the iTunes application any longer and it must be re-authorized.

    Sounds like iTunes Match hasn't sync'd the songs properly. Am I correct that on iOS devices the songs appear greyed out? I've had this problem as well recently. You could try going back to the computer you added the songs on, selecting them from your iTunes library and deleting them but telling iTunes to keep the files.
    I did have some luck following the steps at https://discussions.apple.com/message/18597236#18597236 however that was short lived and stopped being effective shortly after. You may have more success.
    1. List all your songs in your library and right-click the column headers to show iCloud Status
    2. Sort by this column and look for all of the tracks at Waiting Status
    3. Select all of the tracks at Waiting Status, right click and delete them, click Delete Items on the first prompt as shown below (This won't delete your music from your computer):
    4. IMPORTANT: At the second prompt that appears after you click Delete Items select Keep Files
    5. Select Add to Library from the File menu and navigate to your iTunes folder in the Music under your Home folder.
    Leave iTunes to rebuild your library (it might take a while if you have a lot of tracks that were at waiting status). Once it is complete, update iTunes Match once it's finished and it should upload the tracks
    Following that process should rebuild the song information for those tracks in your iTunes library and may help iTunes Match sync up properly. If it doesn't let me know as there are some people including myself that haven't had much luck lately getting past this issue.

    TC first gen was not simultaneous dual band. So.. it's probably best to factory reset your extreme and then tell it to extend again.

    Just updated from 10.6.7 ---> 10.6.8 and had the same issue. Despite having done a clean install from 10.6 and got everything back off my TC, now Time Machine can't find it!
    Green light is on, ethernet cable conected, network CP says its conected but nothing. Airport Utility can't find it. Hit reset button, Orange flashing light but still no show in Airport Utility.
    But I know its there, as rebooting from 10.6 SL disk shows the backups are still ok?

    Try some of the troubleshooting steps outlined below:

    To check a disk using Disk Utility, launch the Disk Utility application in any of the following ways:
    > Type the first few letters of its name into Spotlight. Select it from the results.
    > Go Launchpad > Utilities > Disk Utility
    > Go Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
    Once Disk Utility is opened, check to see if your external HD appears on the sidebar. If it doesn't appear at first, try the troubleshooting steps above again while leaving Disk Utility open, each time checking to see if the external HD appears.

    You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

    Are you using ITunes 10.5? If so have you upgraded to the OS 5 software? Now it should tell you there's an even newer upgrade to the 5.0.1 when you try to sync your iPhone or iPad.  Hope this helps.

    You might be seeing a Micro USB cable (Not HDMI) that is because your Apple Tv is in Recovery Mode due to some reason and it needs to be Restored by connecting it to iTunes on your Computer. So if you have a Micro USB cable ( which comes with Android Smart Phones ) then try to connect your Apple Tv to your computer using the same and with the help of iTunes Restore your Apple Tv to Factory Settings.     Looks like I fixed it., thanks to another post I read.  I went into my Norton Security.  Under Settings. Chose Firewall. Program rules. changed the itunes setting from "auto" to "allow"  This also fixed my error (-3212) which would not allow me to connect to the iTunes store.
