Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

Okay basically I have had a 1TB Drive for quite some time now, which I use to backup with Time Machine, except the only thing is, I used Time Machine to restore my hard drive after I reformatted, keeping some files on for various reasons. (THose files - namely a FCP movie project - with Motion and Shake files in there as well) I kept on the backup. Now when I went to backup after I had reformatted, I was no longer able to access those files. They were not deleted as there was a significant storage decrease, without the files being able to be viewed. (They are on there somewhere for sure)
Anyways, I'm planning on giving this project to someone else to work on (with no hard copies being produced) tomorrow, and I was wondering if you could help me…

I'm sure there's a better way, but I use EasyFind to locate invisible files. Or, for reasons completely beyond me, accessing the volume via FTP can show them. Weird workaround, but it can work.

I had the same problem so I decided to try going to website on the back. (DisneyOzMovieandOffers.com). It will take you to a page that says to redeem code, enter the code that is given to you and click enter. It will give you options of where you would like to download it from. Click iTunes and it will give you the correct code to download the movie from iTunes.

Updating Snow Leopard won't help. You need to Upgrade OS X to Lion or higher if your system will support it. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
Lion system requirements are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Mountain Lion and Mavericks requirements are the same, and are shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842.
If you can run Mavericks, you can download a free upgrade from the Mac App Store. If your system can only run Lion, or you need Mountain Lion rather than Mavericks for software compatibility reasons, youcan contact the online store at the number shown at the bottom of this page and purchase a redemption code to download it from the Mac App Store.

I keep getting an error message when i try to send emails.

I just got the palm treo 650 on alltel. didn't realize it was going to be so involved. lol I got email set up but keep getting an error message when i try to send. the message is 530 5.7.0 must issue a STARTTLS command first. What does that mean and how do i fix it?

Our CEO at our hospital has the exact same problem with this phone, we have been workign with alltel on the problem for quite some time now, and cant seem to find a solution. His can receive emails with no problems but gets an error code 530 when tryng to send an email. But he only gets the error when he is outside of the alltel network. If hes in our hometown then everything works great. Needless to say hes been getting quite irritated with the problem and needs it fixed ASAP. If anyone every figures out a soluting to this problem please let me know.

I just selected "add new account", clicked on Gmail, filled in the User name and Password and I was good to go.
Very simple and I might add, much more stable than using Hotmail or MSN mail. I continue to have trouble with outgoing mail failures with these two accounts, but Gmail just keeps cooking.

1 was just case sensitive password
2 had to set server type to POP

Select a broken track and press ctrl-i to Get Info. Look on the summary tab for the location where iTunes "thinks" the file should be. Where is it really? Post back the two locations and I can suggest the best approach.
