Why does this message come up when I try to sink my yahoo calendar on my mac book pro (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “Yahoo” failed.??

    I have tried to reinstall the i Tunes app 3 times. Just get message of i tunes was improperly intalled. In order to burn cds need to reinstall. What other things can i try its very frustrating.

    When there is a mismatch between the iTunes Store's records and your credit card company's records, you will receive an error message

    Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
    Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
    Restart your Mac after freeing up disk space then check Stoage again.
    Another way to view avialable space:
    Control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop then click Get Info.
    In the Get Info panel you'll see:  Available & Capacity
    Again, make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.

    I have also got a "Enter password" window to ask me "Enter the password to unlock your iphone backup file."
    I've the identical problem; I do believe it's asking for the encryption password, though in my case, could not recall encrypting the backup and I haven't entered it in Splash ID. I ended up using an external program to decrypt the password – "iPhone Backup Unlocker".
    It worked like a charm. I only downloaded its standard version. With that it gave me the first three letters and the rest were blocked out with ***. The result is just as 123***. This however was enough for me to recall the password.

  • I keep getting this message when I open Firefox - "uninstal set", can't do anyting with out it popping up continuously.

    The problem is specific to Firefox as i can do anything in any other program without it only when i open firefox. Tried re-downloading the program and still happens

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • HT1918 my Security code on my debit card keeps getting rejected on my Apple ID info. How can I fix this?

    I know my card is fine. I used it to to make in app purchases on my ipod just 2 nights ago and nothing has changed. I tried using it to get music on Itunes on my laptop and then I started having the problem on my ipod since the apple ID links the 2. now I can't even update free apps like gmail without my billing info being correct. What can I do to fix this? I read somewhere to click "none" under payment method and then to re enter the info, but there's no none option....

    I was connected to my Yahoo mail using ical but kept getting the error message.  I deleted my Yahoo profile from ical and then added it again.  Now all my entries in my Calendar are gone and I am still getting the error message. 

    I am tired of how Yahoo has gotten worse and worse. It is the ONLY account I get problems with DAILY (even after removing and re-adding). AOL will act up once in a while not taking a saved password but accepting it when OK is clicked.... But Yahoo is always responding with such errors.... Today's calendar error is:

    This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
    You will have to access  "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
    Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password.  instead of the yahoo account password.

    If your password is accepted, and Mail connects to the account, but you're prompted for the password repeatedly, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Note: these steps don't apply if the server rejects the password. That's a different problem.
    Step 1
    When prompted for the password, check the box marked Remember this password in my keychain.
    Step 2
    Check that the keychain is working.
    Step 3
    Check that the default keychain is unlocked.

    a colleague of mine suffers from the same problem. did a quick look on the apple support pages. found many topics covering the same problem.
    also saw 1 marked as correct answer... (just browse the discussion pages before you ask, this answer appearantly was sitting there from oct. 14...)
    (i'm not on windows, so i can't test...)

    Hi Rick,
    by "repair" I mean I went to the control panel, option - programs and features, and in the list of all my installed programs I selected "Apple Software Update". On top of the screen you find the options Uinstall, Change and Repair. I clicked the repair button and that did the trick. After the repair I could uninstall the program. I also uninstalled iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support en Bonjour, thus all Apple programs. Then I installed iTunes 10.5 again and everything went fine.

    I called Apple under my Mac support contract.  They were completely unfamiliar with the error you and I were encountering.   Updating to 10.8.5 didn't help.
    I'm stopping my TimeCapsule while I perform these tasks, but I don't know yet if I have a consistent work-around.
