Create a concatenated disk set
Increase storage space with a concatenated RAID set (also called “Just a Bunch of Disks” or JBOD). If you need one large disk, but you have only several smaller disks, you can create a concatenated disk set to use several small disks as one large disk.
Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in Launchpad.
Select one of the disks that you want in the set, and then click RAID.
Click Add (+), and type a name for the RAID set.
Choose a format from the Format pop-up menu. Usually you’ll choose the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.
Choose Concatenated Disk Set from the RAID Type pop-up menu.
Drag the disks you want to add to the set to the list on the right.
Click Create.

Note that the biggest CON to concatenated RAID configurations is vulnerability to volume failure. If either disk fails, the whole volume fails. If you choose this option, I would highly recommend backing up your music to a cloud service. There are very cheap per GB/storage, and some of the most reputable actually offer unlimited storage:

I don't know what the maximum number of hard drives might be, but I have tested with 4 and it works fine. Time Machine automatically rotates the backups when you do this, so drive #1 will be backed up first, then #2, #3, etc. and then back to #1, etc. -

Yes. Go to the home page of the iTunes Store and click on Change Country, and choose UK.
Once you give it your UK credentials (credit card with UK billing address) you can start making purchases from the iTunes UK Store with your present ID.
You do not need to start a new iTunes library. You can simply have your new purchases add to your existing iTunes library. -

However you can only sync all media from one iTunes library/computer. However, one can sync music and videos with different computers/libraries if you have iTunes setup to manually sync. See that method included here:

Can I have more than one ipod with more than music library on one computer
I was just wondering if i could have 2 different ipods (one a 5th generation and the other ipod touch) with 2 different music libraries on the same computer and itunes? because right now im using my parents computer and my fiance is using my laptop and we're moving so we'll only have one computer in the next few weeks. If you have the latest iTunes, an easy way to create a new library is to hold down the 'alt' key whilst opening iTunes (for Macs), or hold down the 'shift' key (for Windows).
This will give you the option of either using the current iTunes library or creating a new one.
There are various methods of transferring different songs to different iPods with a single iTunes library.
One is to manage the songs manually.
With this setting, you can drag and drop songs/playlists etc onto the iPod from iTunes, and also delete and/or edit songs which are currently on the iPod without affecting the iTunes library.
If you wish to keep the convenience of automatic sync, then you could set the iPods to sync with "selected playlists". This setting can be found in the iPod summary screen under the 'music' tab. With this setting, different playlists can be transferred and later deleted from each iPod without affecting any playlists stored in iTunes or the playlists on the other iPods.
Also, on the 'summary' main page you will see the option to "only sync checked items". With this setting selected, if you remove the check marks from any songs in iTunes, they will not be transferred to the iPod. You can restore the check mark if you want to put the songs back on the iPod at a later date.
Be aware that when playing songs in iTunes, any songs that do not have a check mark against them will be skipped over and will not be played. -
When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page. I don't want to have to check off an additional 5 or 6 attributes each time I print out contact information. Is there a way to change the default setting for printing lists, so it is not just "phone," "photo," and "job title?"
I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

Can I create more than one library on the same computer? Just got an ipod for my wife but didn't want her to have to use my library to sync to, so I thought I created another library for her. When I deleted my albums from her library the disappeared from mine. (I think?)

I know it's Valentine's Day, but before you get your wife fixed up the first thing you need to do is recover the deleted albums for your own library. See if the files are elsewhere on your hard drive, or in the Recycle Bin. When you find them, get them back into your own library. Now you are ready to help your wife.
As noted above, you can have two libraries in one Windows user account via the Shift-Start approach, but if you both use your libraries regularly, that becomes annoying quickly. It is better to set her up with her own Windows user account. She can have her own iTunes library there.
Get a copy of your entire iTunes folder to start her off. She can delete stuff she doesn't want without messing you up. -
Using more than one external drive with apple tv and itunes
I've searched the forums and haven't found a clear answer for this. Is it possible to use two seperate drives for the itunes library? I've already filled up my external firewire drive and would like to get another one.
I've read in several places that people are doing this, but haven't found clear instructions on how its done.

Brown.RecluseI don't think you can have more then one folder designated as you itunes library folder, so you can not have more then one drive for your library folder. However you can use more than one drive for you content. I have 6 drives that I use right now. I store the movies and tv shows on those drives. I drag a movie into then library tab in itunes and it just links itunes to the path of the movie. To do this however you have to unclick a option in itunes. It is the menu that you tell the path to you library, you have to unclick “copy to your library” not sure if this is the exact name of this. If you don't do this it will try to copy the movie you dragged in instead of linking it. I actually have nothing in my Itunes library folder. You can also do this with purchased content as well. Just move the purchase content to a drive of your choice from the itunes library. Delete it from itunes. Then drag it into itunes from the new drive. I hope this all makes sense, let me know if you have any other questions.

I'm getting this error:
5006: An ActionScript file can not have more than one
externally visible definition: AMReports, playSound.
playSound is a function in my main document class
The error occured after I added a MovieClip and FLV component
to my the same framemain timeline. This Movie Clip has 3 frames.
I'll be using cue points added to the FLV component to move this
from frame to frame in that MovieClip.
Any one have an idea why this is happening?

Can I create more than one instance of a native library?
Hello all,
I am using Java to access a Win32 DLL with JNI. Everything is working fine, but I have several threads using the same instance of the native library because it is loaded "statically" in the Java class which uses it, and I suspect I am getting a bottle-neck at the native library.
Does anyone know if there is any way to load more than one "instance" of a native library?
The use of System.loadLibrary() would indicate not, and my (limited) knowledge of the Windows environment would tell me that a "shared" library only has on instance. (confirm anyone?)
I need to find a way around this bottle-neck issue... (and "no", before anyone suggests it, I can't ditch Windows!)
Thanks.I am not sure about the behaviour of the dll as it's not mine. It's a COM DLL which I have "wrapped" in a standard windows DLL so I can expose the JNI methods. I assume because it's COM that it IS reentrant, but I am a bit of a novice when it comes to Windows and COM. I didn't install the COMponent either, it was installed as part of another application. (It's an antivirus COM dll that is part of an AV application)
Thanks for your help though, I think I will just have to live with it.
