I lost all my email accounts except the first one listed with the 24.5 update

I haven't used thunderbird in several weeks, working only from my gmail online accounts. I opened TB 24.5 to find all my email accounts missing except for the first one in the list. 4 gmail accounts are now missing. Just recently updated to 24.6 and this did not solve the problem. I am using Win7 pro.

Why is the body/content of all my emails invisible except for a few lines in the small preview pane?

The body/content of my emails is invisible in the large/main part of the screen when using the mail app on my iPad. I can see some of the text from each email in the small preview pane on the left side of the screen (when holding iPad in landscape orientation). The only way I can read the content of an email is to forward or reply and then the body/content appears. How do I fix this problem??

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

You should clean up your inbox on the server. Log into the account's web interface and move the 35,000 emails out of the inbox into another folder. Why do you need to keep 35,000 emails in the inbox? An email client like OutLook etc. using POP protocol downloads all the inbox emails to your computer.

can you open windows for each set of files, next to eachother on your desktop? If so, bring the files from the transfer into the window for the present computer- taking them out of the imported file...

My firefox wont seem to work on my 2nd screen, only the first one. On the 2ned screen, it freezes with each movement and then draggs

When I have the firefox open on my 2nd screen, I can not work on it, i have to drag it over to the primary screen to work, and I have to have the firefox on my 2nd screen in order to work properly. it is only with this new download that I have come into this issue. Please help with this as I love using firefox and there must be something I can do since it worked before.

You lost them from the iPad, or from the Mac(Book) Pro?
If you lost them from the iPad, yes, you can restore your last backup from iCloud. Settings - iCloud - Backup - Restore.
Note that you can always re-download apps from the App Store, and music from the iTunes Store, for free, if they are accidentally deleted.

Playing a second swf when the first one's finished

I have 2 swf files (the FLA's too) and want one to play then
the second. - I'd add the second to the timeline of the first, but
the second is a complete site and contains many referenced
"gotoandplay" links which would all need changing. So....I really
just need a way for the second swf to play after the first one's
finished. I tried using the load external movie clip behaviour, but
couldn't make it work. Can I use the first swf as a preloader
without affecting the timeline on the main swf? I canspare a couple
of frames at the start of the second movie for that, but don't know
how to set it up - can anyone help?
I also want the custom cursor to remain only in the first
swf, and go back to default on the second.

I think you may want to create a 'master' loading swf, rather
than loading the second movie into the first, and use the
MovieClipLoader class to call and load new movies into the master
container.
Set up a new swf, that is the same size as the others. you'll
set up a function on the first frame and then use that function to
load all subsequent content into the master document. You can also
use methods of the class to add things like preloaders and other
event handlers. so for instance, at the last frame of the intro
swf, you'd add a 'call' to the function in the master telling it to
load the next movie in the sequence. I'll add the call you will
need on the bottom of the code example below.

I'm not one to solicit, however I have (awhile ago) developed
a Component that you may be interested in for your site, although
it has not been package and ready for distribution, it does
function - called 'glitterMouse', and produces a twinkling mouse
trail effect when you move the cursor, mush like the onRollOver
animation that you'd painstakingly made (ouch) except that it use
random twinkle generation at run-time, and has many property
settings, like color, quantity, gravity, and so on. It might be a
nice addition to your 'wand' cursor, and would not 'replace it' as
it's not a 'cursor' but an effect generator.
If you are interested, an example of it in action (although
you can't purcahse it from there ... yet) can be seen on my site

one listed.

OK the code for you, add this to the first frame of the
'master' swf, then add the code at the bottom to the end of the
intro swf in the last frame.
EDIT: this is AS2 code, to use AS3 code do something more
like the methods as described above, yet I would still consider
placing all content within a 'master' loading doc, and replaceing
or removeing previously loaded children.

How do you access the Gobal Address List with the Blackberry Curve (on Enterprise Plan) when forwarding or composing an email? If this can be done, what is the key sequence to accomplish this task?

The only way I know how to do it, is using the lookup option in your address book and then adding it to your address book. I've tried to do it from the email and it doesnt put the address in the to field.

Open a second window from the first one

Hi,
The problem of my application is loosing control when I open the second window, so I know that the problem is the run of the sub VI but I don't find an other possibility to open a second window from the first one knowing that the first sends its vales to the second one. In an other way I want to open two windows simutaneously.
NB: I attached a simple verssion of my application.
Can someone help me please.

Incoming is imap.mail.me.com. Outgoing is smtp.mail.me.com (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864). But if you're setting up iCloud mail on OS X Lion or higher, you go to Settings>iCloud and check Mail. This will add the account with the proper settings.

ok sorry everyone but i solved it myself but the solution is so nuts i've posted it here to help others who have the same problem.
to setup a comcast imap account on your iphone:
go to mail, contacts, etc in settings
under accts, select add account
select "other"
new screen, choose "add mail account"
now on the new acct screen you must enter your name, email address and password for your GMAIL acct ! (yes i said your gmail acct !, or some other acct with a NON comcast address).
hit next
then the acct verifies
when verified a screen will open with all the acct settings for this acct AND @ the top of the screen are the 2 buttons > imap or POP
select imap and THEN CHANGE ALL THE ACCOUNT information to the comcast account !
then hit next and the account will take a couple minutes to verify but it will verify and now you have a comcast imap acct set up on your iphone. The problem must be that when the iphone sends the initial verify acct info to comcast (if you enter that information first) the comcast server is simply not setup yet to signal the iphone that there is an imap option.
