The first MBP was produced in 2006, so you either don't have a MBP or it's from 2006 or later.
You have no backup?

If the HD is good, you can put it in an external enclosure and access it with a Mac from there. -

G.Millard.If you have a Hard Copy, hand written or a computer file and printed out, of the LR Serial number you got when you bought and downloaded LR that is all you need. LR can be downloaded from the Adobe Products Updates page and reinstalled. Then all you need to do is license it using that serial number you got when you originally purchased it.
You can also make a hard copy, DVD, of that download for future use. -

thank you for reading and taking interestI don't understand you GUI approach at all: you are making a very basic board game. You need not even do an animation loop as a continuously running process. While I have not gone over your code extensively, what your errors and glimpsing at your code says to me is that you don't have your objects being disposed of because they are running--your "while(true)" loop is not being canceled/stopped.
You need to make a very basic animation loop and look at making your events happen accordingly. You can easily paint your cards/messages over portions of the playing screen and have them age off with a timer or other triggered events--this removes the need of your while(true) loops and runnable objects.
On the other hand, you do not need to implement runnable nor have a running animation loop with a basic GUI. When you have your "cards" pop up, they need not be objects that implement runnable either, but just basic GUI components.
Anyways, I'm just at a loss as to your need to have everything implement runnable. -

HELP! I am in London and my iPad is plugged into wall via adapter and cords bought from Verizon who sold me the I pad.
It does not show it is charging
It sometimes says "not charging"
it is plugged and % is dropping like a stone. HELP!Go to the home screen on the iPad. Double click the home button and where all the app's come up below, hold down on one and then proceed to press on the minus' to delete them from multitasking. Don't worry, your not deleting the actual apps.
That should clear up the 'not charging' business, and the constant dropping. You probably played some big 3D games or watched movies and didn't exit them properly (anything you exit automatically goes into multitasking) thus keeping them open in the background.
