Ah, you had Photoshop 7.0 working, and now it's not. I see that as a separate issue to updating it. I'm not sure why it would ask you to update it.
Do you know whether you have 7.0 or 7.0.1 at this point? You might be able to do a Properties function on Photoshp.exe and see that info.
You could make an attempt to reset Photoshop's preferences to defaults. Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.
Only other thing that comes to mind is to use Windows System Restore to restore back to a restore point where Photoshop was working, or restore from a backup (you do make backups I hope).
If that fails, and you need to do a fresh install but no longer have the original disk and serial number I'm afraid you may be out of luck. There's no place I know of from which to download a fresh full copy of Photoshop 7.0.

Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store - you should be able to remove your card details after entering them

ITunes won't let me sync my iPhone without entering that passcode, but I've forgotten my passcode. How can I get assess to my phone again?

Unfortunatly my friend was being stupid and stole my iPhone and put a passcode of it, but he made it a random code that he doesn't know himself. I tried to sync it with iTunes but since I never synced it with that computer it won't give me acess to anything, the computer I origanally sync it to was wipped and got restated from scratch. I never had the need to sync it to it again so I never did (Which I'm now really regreating.)
So is there a way I can get back into my phone again? (And if there is how do I do it? and will it erase everything on it?)

You can only restore the backup to another iOS device. Also, Apple will delete an iCloud backup after 180 days of inactivity so it won't be there forever.

MBP won't let me startup- keeps asking for password

I've been using my MBP for over a year now, no problems. Took it on a trip recently, brought it home, target-Firewired it to my desktop Mac to get files onto the desktop. I went to start it up recently, and now it's asking for a password, and nothing I enter will let me have access to the laptop. Tried every conceivable password I've ever had. I have the original disks- is there anything I can do to get into my laptop again? I've only ever used it as a single user Mac, so I've never needed a password before, apart from when I'm updating the system.

Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.

Ok, that sounds like a valid approach...but now the question is, when you say you lost the upgrade when you tried to restore, exactly what do you mean? Restore from a Time Machine backup, or another kind of backup? What happened to the operating system when you did that?
If it damaged the operating system, you should be able to recover it by restarting your computer holding either the Option key (should result in a grey screen that shows the macintosh hard drive and a recovery hard drive), or by holding the Command and R keys while starting.
You can use the recovery hard drive to reinstall Mac OS X either way. If the Option key restart, click on the recovery hard drive to boot from that.
Then with either approach you will have a screen with a drop-down that gives you choices, such as install Mac OS X, Disk Utility, Terminal. You will want to use Install (or Reinstall) Mac OS X...note, you must be connected to the internet from this point on.

I know I might need to download the Yosemite, but would prefer to wait untill all the glitches are fixed. I have learned that the Yosemite may cause wifi failure and e-mail connection problems. Since I am not a computer expert, I don't need the headaches trying to figure out how what is wrong and how to fix a bug, so I would prefer to wait untill apple has totally fixed all the glitches that the Yosemite has. In the meanwhile, I just need to know how to go about updating a newer version of safari. I thing I have a 5.0

Safari 5.1.10 is the newest version for Snow Leopard, and all available Mac OS X upgrades other than Yosemite require a purchase. You may want to switch to another browser, such as Firefox, temporarily.
