Why am I asked to enter my registered phone # and PIN?
When you call your Skype To Go numbers, you are identified by your registered phone’s caller ID and won’t need to enter your registered phone number and PIN for authentication purposes.
There are several reasons why you could be asked for your registered phone number and PIN:
You are calling your Skype To Go number from a phone which is not registered in your account yet. You can register more phones anytime in your Skype To Go account overview.
You are calling from your registered phone, but you may have made a mistake when entering your phone number in your Skype To Go account. Please check that you entered the correct phone number.
Your phone does not submit its caller ID. In your phone’s settings, ensure your caller ID is enabled. Your phone may also submit a caller ID different from your actual phone number (e.g. when using an office phone).
You may be calling an old Skype To Go number which you previously deleted. Please sigh in to your Skype To Go account to ensure you are calling the right number.
If you are still experiencing problems, then please submit a ticket with customer service, including your Skype To Go number and the time & date you tried calling.
Why does my verification fail after entering my registered phone # and PIN?
If you call your Skype To Go numbers from a phone not registered in your Skype To Go account, then we will ask you to enter one of your registered phone numbers along with your PIN for authentication purposes. Should you experience problems during this verification process then please check the following:
Please ensure you are entering the phone number of one of your registered phones, not the number of the unregistered phone you are actually calling from. You can register more phones in your Skype To Go account.
When prompted, enter your registered phone number in this format:
Country code + phone number + the “#” key
Example 1: You live in the US and your registered phone number is 333-444-5555, then enter:
0013334445555#
Example 2: You live in the UK and your registered phone number is 07777-888-999, then you enter:
00447777888999#
Please check your registered phone in your Skype To Go account. You may have made a mistake when entering your phone number.
If you are unsure whether you entered the correct PIN then create a new one
You may be calling an old Skype To Go number which you previously deleted. Please sigh in to your Skype To Go account to ensure you are calling the right number.
If your selected PIN starts with a "0" then verification may fail. This is due to technical issues which we are in the process of fixing. Please change your PIN to another one which doesn't start with a "0".
If you are still experiencing problems, then please submit a ticket with customer service, including your Skype To Go number and the time & date you tried calling.

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Find your Apple ID'. Follow the instructions and hopefully you will be able to identify your ID.

Basically my iPhone 4 asked for my Apple ID and I entered it thinking it was just some check or something and then I've just been scrolling through my music library and there is a whole U2 album there and i have never even heard of U2... i clicked on one of the songs to see what it was and it came up with "This device is already associated with an apple ID. If you download past purchases with your apple ID, you cannot auto download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days."
I Can't delete the album like I can with my other music from my phone and I don't really want to connect my phone to my laptop incase I have been hacked and it could give the person all access to my phone?

When i try to buy an app from the app store it ask for my billing imformation and when i type everything in it tells me the imformation does not match my bank records. Ive also tried using my wifes card to buy apps and it says the same thing. Any ideas?

Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information. -
I can't access my email. I have joined iCloud. When I press mail I get a series of providers. I click iCloud. It asks for my Apple id and password. I provide these to be told this account already exists and I can get no further. What am I doing wrong?

why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

When I try to update apps on my iPad, it asks me for my mothers password and displays her apple ID. How do I change it to ask for my apple id and password??? I am signed into the store and iCloud with my apple id. I am not signed into ITunes, the store on the ipad, or icloud under her name. WIERD???
There is no featured tab in my iTunes store. . . and everywhere it shows me signed in. I had downloaded an app for my mother on HER ipad, and that is the only app I have done for her. It shows up on my phone, and now I cannot update any of my apps. I uninstalled that app on my phone, but when I want to update ones I have installed on my phone with my appleid, she keeps showing up.

I bought a new computer and downloaded my lightroom 4 to it. When I installed the program it asked for my serial number and I imputed it. Then it asked for my previous serial number from my original lightroom 3 purchase. Since I upgraded to lightroom 4 I don't have the serial number for the version 3. How do I get the serial number from my 3 version so I can activate my version 4 program
If you have Lightroom 3 still installed, you can get it from there.
If you don't and you have your box/disk, it should be on there.
IF you don't have either of those,and you registered your software, you can log into your Adobe account and retrieve it there. -
I kept getting reminders to update my iphone to v6, so I did so and I am not happy! It deleted all of my apps, so then I had to reload them. Now many of the apps do not work - when I try to open them they keep asking for my apple ID and PW and when I enter this it just goes away and never opens. Anyone else had this issue?
Happened to me once awhile back. The exact same thing. What I did to get everything working again was open up itunes on PC and click on "Apps" section (not the one in your iphone section, but the one in the "Libraries" section near the top). Then proceed to totally delete all of the apps that aren't working (if it asks if you want to send to recycle bin click yes). Re-sync phone, which will remove them from the phone. And, finally, re-install them. It was a pain, but the only thing that worked. Hope it works for you. Good luck!

Careless? Possible, but unlikely. Most likely the phone was stolen from the first owner. It would be a VERY careless iPhone owner who did not erase their personal information from a phone before selling it, and to do that it is necessary to disable Activation Lock. In most places in the world knowingly using stolen property is a crime, so the fact that the phone doesn't work may be the least of one's risks. -

Do you have an Exchange Mail account on your phone? "Get an App" - are you referring to downloading from the App Store? That should NOT ask for an Exchange acct password, only your iTunes account password.

This constantly happens. I've tried a few methods already, including deauthorizing+authorizing, signing out of apple id > resetting > signing back in (which is a temporary fix and actually worked for SOME apps). This just started happening tonight and I can't think of any reason why it would. HELP PLEASE, this is causing an irritation.
I also noticed that it only happens to some apps that I installed, not the ones that were already in the phone.My iPhone is only a week old and most of the apps that I have recently installed have already been previously installed on my Apple ID therefore entering the password was not necessary.
My first problem was frustrating me so much I decided to perform a reset which deletes all the data on my phone. I redownloaded my apps and checked to see if the problem was fixed by opening up random apps but it still isn't fixed.
