I'm trying to take info from a cell on 1 spreadsheet and have it populate into a different one (pending if checkbox is true or not). I've been able to do it with 2 files but for some reason this one isn't doing what I need. If the checkbox is unchecked the text should stay in the new spreadsheet cell, if it's checked I want the row removed, but for reason instead of removing the row it just places a 0 in the cell.

Like I said it works great on the other doc, just not on this new one. (the 2 docs vary with some of the text, but in the second image I've "checkboxed" out some of the text)

You may have the wrong cell reference (B2) in the second part of your formula. If B2 is empty, the result will be displayed as a 0. Did you mean to have A2 in both parts of the formula?

Can't figure out why this won't work

I'm working on a simple app that just checks to see if a word is a palindrome. So far it works up to the point where it reverses the word, but when I run my if -else statements to check if it is a palindrome or not, it will always say it isn't even if the word actually is a palindrome.

Ichat doesn't work with one buddy - can't figure out why!

It has to have something to do with the internet connection and the way they have it set up but I can't figure it out.
My family all has macs - there is no problems with video chatting through our AIM accounts until we try and hook up with my parent's imac. It works for a second and then freezes. We are all at different locations so I can't imagine what the problem could be. It works just fine if both computers are using my parent's internet connection, it's just when we are trying to connect with them from our own connections.
Not sure if it matters but my parent's imac in fairly new, they bought about 5 months ago. Like I said, I have a feeling it's the settings on modem or router but I'm not sure what to try. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can try???

What router or Modem do they have ?
What Error log number are you getting ?
Old Logs are in your Home Folder/Library/Logs/iChatConnectionErrors
Error 20 (No data for 10 secs) can be caused be a feature in the router at the far end.
They should turn Off any DoS (Denial of Service) or SPI (Stateful packet Inspection) as both are threshold based and cut the port that is giving "Problems" (iChat can send so much data in Video chats over modern Internet Speeds, the device will think it is an Attack)
Error 22 is a Speed/bandwidth issue
If they are on Leopard they should go to System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming tab and select 1.5mbps (The Automatic Setting can be too low)
In fact all ends should do this for Tiger and Leopard computers.
iChat will need Restarting afterwards to "See" the new speed.
There are other possible numbers but those are the most likely based on your description.

My iphone 5 is having poor call quality? Verizon can't figure out why. Anyone else having problems?

My phone has been working without any problems since I bought it in January. Yesterday I had a Zagg invisible shield applied to my phone and as soon as I got home, the call quality was horrible. I could hear people on the other end however, they couldn't hear me, the call would be dropped, or they said I sounded like I was in a tunnel. I removed the zagg cover and it is still not working like it was before. I called Verizon and did everything from resetting the network settings, to restoring the phone to factory settings and restoring it from the last back up. Nothing is working. I have never had these problems up until yesterday. Verizon would try calling my cell and it would ring on their side but not on mine. Very strange. Phone is up to date on its software.
Anyone else having these issues or know a way it can be fixed???

Hello the third!
I placed the <ul> css code you supplied in the main.css file as well. No avail.
But I did just notice there is a tiny thin yellow line between the logo and nameplate graphics at the top and the menu bar. That yellow line disappears in IE8 compatability mode. The graphics sit right on top of the menu bar, as it appears in Dreamweaver, and the margins and such all line up. In regular IE7, the thin yellow line is always there.
I don't know if this helps, but it is something I just noticed while tinkering around.

Can someone help me figure out why this didn't work?

I recently gave my iMac to my nieces....I erased and reinstalled the osx from my disks that came with the program.
They HAD one of the Mac Minis (an old one...g4 I think).
When we started up the iMac, I used the Firewire connection to transfer all the data during setup. we transferred everything.
So far, I have encountered the following problems:
1. When I opened iPhoto for the first time, it says "the library needs to be upgraded, etc etc...." so I choose to upgrade it, but the application QUITS.
2. When I try to open iTunes for the first time, it says the the iTunes library was created using an older version and cannot be read. The application quits.
3. The iMac is currently running OS Tiger, and when I try to put the Snow Leopard disk in, I couldn't even double click it to start it in order to install it?
I have not yet tried any other applications, but does anyone know how I can fix this? I have started all of my new macs using the firewire and I've never had a problem. I am assuming it's because it was such "old" versions of the programs that there is a problem?
The only thing that I can think of, was to possibly erase and reinstall again, NOT use firewire, set the computer up without the mini, and then somehow bring her photos over to the iMac separately ? Can this be done ? Will I be able to start the iMac and use the same user settings (names, passwords, etc).
Any help would be appreciated...this is the first time it didn't "just work" and I am lost !

the iPhoto library can be copied manually, too. again, using TDM, just drag and drop from source to target. see this user tip for locations: _*where important data is stored*_ (one correction to this link: iCal data is stored in ~/library/calendars).

Any Ideas Why This DVD Won't Work?????????

I have posted this puzzler in several other forums.
I have found a DVD-R that I made in my eMac last year and I can’t get it to work.
I can’t remember how I made it or with what application! I cannot even remember what is on it (whether it was slides or video).
In a normal DVD player all that appears is a large close-up of a face.
Whether it is a still photo or a video frame I cannot tell.
I have pressed all the controls I can think of but I can't get the face to move or change etc.
HOWEVER, when I put the DVD in my eMac and double-click it I get the usual window with two files. One is “Video RM” and the other is “Video TS” but both of them are EMPTY and there is nothing else to be found.
Now here is the really strange part. When I open “Get Info” I get the following details:-
Kind: Volume
Format: Mac OS Extended
Capacity: 3.71GB
Available: Zero KB
Used: 3.71GB on disk (3,978,659,840 bytes)
So obviously there is something on it in spite of the apparently empty RM and TS folders!
Can anyone suggest how I can play it ?

Can't figure out why tweener won't work after an loader is added to stage

Hey all, I am working on an imageHolder class that will let me load an image into and then when the image has finished loading I want the default graphic that is a placeholder to fade out. Everything is working except one thing when the image has finished loading an is added to the stage I can't seem to get tweener to fade out the placeholder graphic. The weird part is that tweener in the onLoadComplete handler works for resizing the placeholder (and alpha as I did do a test with this also). Hope someone can help me shed some light on what my issue is.

I should also note that the fade out does happen but it is just a quick cut. Does not matter what I set the time value for in the tween.

My Flash Pro CC 2014 freezes while I'm working every single time and I can't figure out why

I just bought Flash Pro CC about a month ago, and every time I open it and start using it, it freezes and I can't click on anything in the program or even close out of it normally. I have to use Task Manager and force it closed. I doubt that its my hardware, as I ran previous Flash Pros on it in the past with no problem. Is anyone else having this issue?

You might try to remove the preferences file from Flash, but I don't think that will solve the problem. You may need to resort to a clean installation: Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

My itunes stopped working when i upgraded the software, i then uninstalled and reinstalled, but quicktime did not download with it, what can i do to rectify this?

What version of iPHoto did you previpusly have? Have you run the ujpdater (in the applications folder ==> utilities double click on it and execute it - then launch iPhoto to finish the upgrade
And as always you should have a current backup of yoru iPhoto lbrary before upgrading

CFCALENDAR form input is passing empty... Can't figure out why.

I'm using cfcalendar to let users select a date, then they
submit the HTML form. My code is simple...

I post the form but the form variable sent is an empty value.
form.startDate exists, but its empty and I don't know why
because I'm selecting the date when I submit the form! Is there
something I'm missing? It's such basic code and I'm completely

I did notice, though, that it sends the empty value whether I

Having issues with 24. Can't figure out what version I had before 24. Where can I find this?

Not to be whiney, but 2-3 times a year, these FF updates make everything go haywire. I don't have the patience to go through every issue and find solutions for them all right now. I just want to go back to a working version, the version I had immediately before 24. But I don't know which version that was. I deleted FF and installed 3.6.28, but it has even more issues. Is there a place to find the versions I've used, or if anyone has similar problems and knows which previous version worked perfectly, can you please let me know which it was? Yes, I'm still using XP and yes I know I should update it. I'm getting a new computer for Christmas and won't need to "fix" all these things, so just want to continue with what I had for the remaining 2 months.
The issues I'm talking about is that my bookmark toolbar barely functions. My link to email does not work, I've lost the icons for half my bookmarks...

I just figured out that my CanoScan won't work with Mountain Lion. Now what?

I have already upgraded to Mountain Lion. Then, I noticed that my scanner won't work. The person at Cannon said that the scanner drivers are not ready so that they will interface with Mountain Lion. He couldn't tell me how long it would be before Cannon caught up. Do I have to delete Mountain Lion to scan?

You're looking for solutions, so I'll let you know what you need to do:
1. If you have sufficient storage, you can make separate partitions for Mountain Lion and Lion.
2. Invest in a new hard drive, install Lion, and use it to do your scanning. I don't know how to do this, but it is possible.
3. You can wait for Canon to update their scanner software, but it's hard to tell when (or if) you will get it.
4. Often, third-party developers come up with scanning and printing software for unsupported devices, but given the recency of ML, there's no certainty when the software will come out - or what it will cost.
5. Scrap your current scanner, and replace it with a new machine.
I don't know how often you use your scanner, so it's hard to tell which you should do.

Have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting to your network ?. And when you say rebooted do you mean a reset ? If not then try that : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You could also try closing those apps completely. From the home screen (i.e. not with any of those apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes, App Store and iBooks apps to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
