I'm having trouble downloading After Effects from the Download Assistant. Error 107?

It says it cannot connect to Adobe.com but my connection is fine. I've restarted after closing the program several times and I've even tried different networks. Any help would be valuable to me. Thanks!

You will want to complete solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.  Also where are you trying to download the install files too?
Alternately you can utilize the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

    I have just checked your account and found that you indeed have bought a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription but you have assigned the single seat to another user hence you ( If you are using your own Adobe ID ) are getting the trial error message.
    Two options : Either reassign the seat to your self or add an additional seat and invite your self in the same Team.

    MPEG-4 should not be used in FCP unless it is converted first or optimized in the application.
    Trash your preferences. Trash your project render files. Switch off background rendering. Do not re-render. Export your projects.
    Ignore the last frame and first frame indicators.

  • Having Trouble Downloading After Effects VIA the Cloud.

    So I purchased Adobe AFter Effects through the cloud on a month to month basis. I had just finished the free trail and decied I needed to download it.
    I then dowloaded the free trail of Creative Cloud just to see how the layout was etc. Then I purchased After Effects on Creative Cloud.
    After I recieve my e-mail telling me my purchase had gone through etc etc. I logged in to Creative Cloud and tried to download AE.
    The Adobe Apllication Manager window opens and I selected After Effects again but it doesn't do anything? On the left side (where it should say download or try) it says Up To Date.(picture included below).
    I checked my computer just to make sure it hadn't downloaded and it's not there. I have a feeling this whole issue has to do with the free trail I was on?
    Anyway, it's Saturday and Adobe's phone support is not open and I'll be wasting two whole days of my month to month plan if I can't get it downloaded
    Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm diong wrong here, or what I should do to resolve the problem??

    Log out of AAM, clean the SLStore folder as expalined here:

    Sign back into AAM and then launch the apps to confirm the license agreements and finalize the activation.

    Download it from prodesigntools.com and use the serial number you have to serialize it.

    Just find them and the drag them to the "list".
    Usually when you search you can select show in Finder so you know where to drag them from.

    Your video playback will also depend on your net speed. If you have slow internet, you will stream video slow. If your video stops and starts, you can try pausing it for a minute or so and then try to watch. Let more of it buffer before you try to watch.

    Yesterday, January 20, 2015, I purchased an annual subscription to After Effects.  And, after numerous attempts at downloading the software with the same abysmal results, I am now going to the forums for a possible remedy.  Everything goes well in beginning my download, including getting my McAfee Anti-virus program to accept Adobe Creative Cloud, however after a few minutes, the download process knocks out my Internet connection, forcing me to re-boot.  I do receive two back-to-back error messages; none of which are listed by Adobe set of error messages in their FAQ section.
    The first one reads:  "Core: Creative Cloud - Application Error.  The instruction at 0x100014a0 referenced memory at 0x100014a0.  The memory could not be written."  The second error message is likened to the first, only with a different number...
    "94% Complete: explorer.exe - Application Error.  The instruction at 0x80001610 referenced memory at 0x80001610.  The memory could not be written."
    Finally, do you know if I can bypass all of this trouble by having Adobe After Effects disks shipped to me?  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    And thank you both, Mylenium & Dave.  After I compose this note, I am going to mark your answers as correct.  I just wanted to write this qualifier, first.  I tried to do as both of you suggested, however, I could not figure out how to disable McAfee Anti-Virus.  I did manage to turn off McAfee Firewall.  And when that was done, I tried to download After Effects.  However, that trick did not work the first couple of times I tried it.  A few re-boots later, After Effects (as well as some unknown program I did not expect called Media Encoder) finally downloaded on my computer.
    After I began this thread, I recalled that, oftentimes, when I view YouTube videos online, the same thing happens - my Internet connection gets disrupted.  Then I remembered that the trouble began when my computer crashed and I tried to re-install Windows 8.1 Pro.  So, maybe that is the real culprit - my system crash, that is.  A little while ago, I tested viewing YouTube videos to no avail.  So, I am suspecting that your solution to turn off my anti-virus (in my case, my firewall) did the trick, and I thank you two, Mylenium & Dave, mightily.

    It isn't Lion. It might be the browser you are using or it could be an issue with adobe's site.
    Try a different browser and if that doesn't work, contact adobe and let them know you are having problems.

  • Trouble downloading After Effects CC

    I’m trying to download After Effects CC, but the Adobe Application Manager software crashes before anything can begin. I’ve tried restarting and everything else I know to do.
    I’m using a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor utilizing 8 GB of RAM with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB graphic card and running OS X 10.9.2. I have a 250 GB hard drive with approximately 50 GB free.
    I’m successfully running Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and Adobe Photoshop C6.
    Any ideas?
