When a software was installs onto your pc it offered two basic installs, typical installation, which lists the add-on features such as searchqu default search, and Custom installation, which allows you to select the add-ons that you wish to install. Yes, feel free to uninstall and reinstall as many times as you feel necessary. However, this doesn't often fix problem (unless the install process didn't work in the first place or that files have become damaged or are missing since the install process).

No avast does not give any hint of where it is coming from all it does is try to get me to upgrade which of course costs money.
I went into avast and found a "browser cleaner" I ran that and it seems to have solved the problem, at least when I got out of mozilla and back into it no warning message came up so hopefully problem solved. Thanks for your advice.

There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right.

I want to put my Albums under the groups name, but still have the albums cover showing which would allow me to click on the cover to play that albums songs, but when looking at it on my devices I would see that there is the group I'm looking for and under it there is the albums belonging to that group.

dj_paige - I appreciate your concerns for lost data or extra work - but reality is the files I am looking to move aren't very likely to ever be needed again. It's 1,000s and 1,000's of pictures of "other peoples kids" from 9 years of High school soccer, 4 years of College hockey and 11 years of club soccer. Obviously I am keeping the images featuring my own children or their close friends. I really just didn't want to clog up my new PC or waste space on my external drives (i have 4 totaling about 9 terabytes of storage)
My plan is to extract these unneeded pics to one of my older external drives - which will be dedicated as "archive" so I will always know where they are...save the metadata as suggested, and then delete then from the existing catalog so I can cut it down to size. It took 8 hours to do a full catalog back up of my PSE 11 catalog......only a little over 3 for my PSE12 - where I was much more disciplined in my "star" maintenance and deleted sub standards shots much more religiously!

That sounds like a settings issue to me. Check with your IT depatment to make sure you have it configured properly.

And that's exactly the problem, because everyone should have their own account for iCloud. You can share an Apple ID for iTunes & App Store purchases, but you shouldn't do that for iCloud (Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc. ... ...and Photos). The problem of using the same account together could mean that only your dad's photos were stored.

My hard disk is full. I already moved lots of photos from other folders on the hard disk to other external hard drives, so there are a lot of question marks in Lightroom. So, are those photos still taking up room on the computer hard disk? You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

It has always been very basic to maintain a backup of media and other important files. If you chose to reinstall the OS without having a backup, well that just is not smart.
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, iTunes purchases can be redownloaded via iCloud. Simply log into the iTunes store, select purchases, purchase history and redownload the content.
If you are not in the US.... well, seems you just learned and important and possibly expensive lesson.

You need to get the owner's manual for your Ford's bluetooth system to see how to put your system into discovery mode for the iPhone as well as the appropriate steps to take.
In addition, you should see if the iPhone is supported.

For example, I am putting Kanye West's album "808's & Heartbreak" on my ipod. The track "Amazing" features Young Jeezy. So in iTunes, I list the track name as "Amazing", the artist as "Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy", the album artist as "Kanye West", and the album as "808's & Heartbreak". What I want is for my iPod to have a list of album artists instead of artists, so that I can find the song "Amazing" under "Kanye West" instead of "Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy" or "808's & Heartbreak".
And when the song plays, it should say:
Amazing
Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy
808's & Heartbreak

Have you tried a different pair of earbuds/headphones to rule out a pair of damaged/faulty ones? You might also want to make sure the headphones are securely and firmly seated in Nano's headphone jack. Lastly, check the headphone jack for any signs of debris or damage. You may need to have the headphone jack replaced either by Apple or a third party repair company.
I assume this static is present on any track you listen to versus only particular ones?

with "popup LOV", do you mean the dialog framework? Note that a dialog also can return multiple values in its returnFromDialog method of the AdfContext class. The first argument in this method is a single object, whereas the second is a HashMap so you can return multiple values.
However, the question is not completely clear to me as to what listener is writing to where. Note that EL can also be concatinated #{row.xx1} #{row.xx2}
