With my PC I could watch HULU.com for free or view YouTube. Would I have been better off with a Verizon Air-Card and save $900 buck on my IPAD. How does HULU recognize that I am using an IPAD. Can I override the recognition?
I now have to carry both. That was not my idea when I bought the IPAD. Why is Apple making free content a chargeable event? Will my IPAD become my wife's $900 IPOD?

I believe that the Hulu website uses Flash so it wouldn't work on the iPad.

Apple isn't charging for the content, Hulu is. If Hulu is the only reason you bought the iPad and you're not willing to pay for Hulu+, then, yes, you may have made a mistake.

I"m going to make the presumption that you've checked the volume and that you don't have it muted. One thing some have suggested is to go into the settings and reset all settings.
It is kind of a drag because you wil have to retweak everything but it's helped for some. -

Not getting Facetime calls on iPad 2 iOS6.
My family members say they try to reach me (my iPad 2 iOS6) via facetime. They say they call but the ipad does not ring nor do I get an missed call alert. I have experimented using my iPhone 4S (iOS6) calling my ipad and found this to be true, my Ipad does not answer. When the ipad is not plugged in (I have not tried it with the ipad plugged in), I call it from my 4s and it does not ring. I do not have a smart cover but have removed the ippad from the case. I initiate a call from the ipad to the iphone and it works great. I call back the ipad from my iphone and then it works. It seems like the longer the ipad "sleeps" is when it does not respond to a call.
Honestly, sometimes I can call the ipad and it answers. Other times I call, it does not answer. I can't figure this out. I have searched the forums and have done everything that has been suggested, but the issues don't seem to be intermittent like the one I'm having.

My photos from my new iphone 4s are not coming across on my ipad or my computer. I have all devises synced together, icloud on photos are turned on. Not sure what else to do?

• Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
• Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
• Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.
Photostream when enabled will only add photos from the camera roll that were taken post photostream activation. (Photostream does not currently share video) -

I have used Firefox on my computer for several years. Today, after upgrading to the new version, I was not able to open Firefox. I have tried several times uninstalling and re-downloading Firefox. It still will not open! Is the new version not compatible with Windows Vista?

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner -
I am trying to open up my iTunes onto our new computer but do not remember my answers to the security questions. The e-mail verification is being sent to an outdate e-mail address I no longer have access to. I updated the e-mail address in my iTunes account but it will not send it to the updated e-mail. This came from another thread, but worked for me. Problem is with newest iTunes 4.62 and Windows 8.1. Unistall iTunes, as well as its helper programs (Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Divice Support, and Apple Software Update). Reboot, and reinstall iTunes. It will reinstall all the other ones and you should be able to connect your nano. Good luck.

From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

I swithced it on by clicking on options when I start up and then clicked on Macintosh HD. the other option was a question mark and network drive.
Is there a way to ensure it never happens again, what is the cause for this problem, if I need to uninstall some application, i am happy to do it as long as I know what is causing this conflict.

You claim this is a brand new machine and you have not tried to install Windows or Boot Camp.
Then why would you ever even go into System Preferences > Startup Disk and choose Macintosh HD? It should have automatically booted into Macintosh HD.
You're probably going to have to reinstall Mac OS X. -
