Open iTunes with your iPad connected. It should be listed in the Devices section of iTunes sidebar. Select it. You should now see a window with several tabs across the top. You configure what you want synced under each tab, then sync.

The red frame sounds a bit like a glitch we used to have in OnLocation (actually in its predecessor HDV Rack) which was caused by a partial GOP. But that was a product of HDV Rack recording from the live video stream. It turned out that HDV cameras intentionally interrupt the data stream for an instant upon starting to record--specifically to avoid recording a partial GOP to tape. So my gut says that the tape has partial GOPs at the points where you stopped/started recording. -

My hard drive went out one of my Macs and I am trying to install logic studio on another Mac but the serial number is invalid. What are my options?
Check that the serial you are using is the correct one..
Typically the problem is either you are misreading the serial and therefore typing it in wrong. Check you are correctly entering zeros or O.. and so on....
or...
You bought the LP9 upgrade version.... which requires the LP8 full serial as well.
If it is the LP9 upgrade serial.. (and not the LP9 full serial) you must enter your original LP8 full serial first and then the upgrade serial for LP9.. when it asks for it.
Failing that.. you can obtain a replacement serial from Apple.. using this form.....

When I first turn on my computer and click Safari, a blank page appears. I use to have MY MSN as the opening page on Safari. Don't know what happened, but how do I restore it back to the way it was? Wife had the same problem today. Remembering that I had recently signed her up for more space on iCloud and started backing up her photos, I decided to roll the dice and turn that off. Plug phone back into computer and *boom* I now have the option to delete. Now I just have to figure out how I can do both = \ -

I asked the question, can you have two Enterprise Root CA in the same AD domain. This question was kindly answered by Paul
here the answer was Yes.
As far as I believe the two important aspects from a client point of view (e.g. IE on Windows 7 PC for example) are
1: Public key of the CA (e.g. the CA cert published in AD and therefore downloaded to the X509 store on your PC)
2: CRL (published via LDAP (in Configuration partition of AD), HTTP/S or File Share)
I believe as long as you have access to the above two you can turn the CA off if you want.
I believe the location of the CRL is detailed in the CDP which is detailed on the Certs issued but a given CA, so the client can look in the Cert and see what it states about the CDP and thereby get the list of revoked certs.

Enterprise CAs are not intended to be offline. Therefore, you should not turn off them. If these root CAs issue certificates only to subordinate CAs, then you should consider to implement offline Standalone (not Enterprise) Root CAs.

If you each have a separate Windows account then each of you should automatically have a separate Firefox profile.
If you use the same Windows account (not much privacy in that case) then you will have to create a separate profile for each of you and a desktop shortcut to start each profile.

This happens on only one website that I download. I have a small Samsung pc and have only Firefox running. Never had this problem before.
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly. -
this computer has two logins, my grandma's (which is the administrator) and mine, itunes is on both logins but on my login i have some music there and hers i have my other music.. i want to be able to redownload my music on my ipod touch with out having to resync back and forth between libraries.. how do i combine the libraries because if i go with one or the other i lose my music i have purchased, on both libaries the music belongs to me not my grandma,
Also, a few weeks ago, I loaned the IPOD to somebody and they told me that evidently the IPOD had been hacked and that it had lost all the music. When I got it back, I re-synced it and got some of the music back. After talking to other people, I now suspect that my "friend" tried to do something he wasn't suppose to to and the IPOD shut down or that he was trying to create an Apple ID of his own without paying for it. Now that I have it back, I just want to get the music back that I paid for that is already associated with my ID and that is in my two libraries. I can see them in there (on the computer), I just can't access them to download them on the IPOD. Just to summarise what's in the link above:
Method one is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries.
Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. If you've had no success with this you can have a look through the guide on this page: Loading songs onto iPod automatically

In FCP X How do I capture tape-based media (hdv clips)- which I want to import-to my external hard drive? There is only one firewire 800 port on the back of my I mac. The FCPX manual says to import tape footage directly into final cut, which works, but then I lose my external hard drive Do I have to import it into an event, then copy it over to an external hard drive?
