Hi, I have been watching videos from my ipad via ATV2 with no problems for over a year. As of yesterday my videos just keep loading and don't play. I don't think I have done anything differently. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have tried unplugging it waiting 30secs and then plugging it back in. I have tried restarting, updating and reseting but nothing is working. It's quite frustrating!!!! Any suggestions????
I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

How to rotate photographs? I've tried everything

I am a fairly new user of mac, and after months I still don't know how/when/why do photographs rotate. I am very confused.
This is the thing:
Some of my vertical photographs appear upright in the Finder. But some appear sideways, for no apparent reason. Some of the ones that appear sideways in the Finder, appear upright when I open them in the Viewer, in Photoshop and in iPhoto. But are sideways if I upload them to a blog or to a website.
Some others that also appear sideways in the Finder, also appear sideways in Photoshop, the Viewer and iPhoto, too. Those I can rotate from the Viewer and save. If I do this, they will appear upright in Photoshop, the Viewer and iPhoto, but still sideways in the Finder and in blogs and websites.
Now once I have managed to get a photo to appear upright in the Viewer/Photoshop/iPhoto (but still not on the Finder), if I open it in Photoshop and simply save (without doing absolutely anything else), it will automatically rotate and appear upright in the Finder, and anywhere i may post it in the net. This is the only method that has worked for me so far, but it is very time consuming when you want to rotate fifty pictures everyday.
Now I don't know why each vertical photograph acts differently (I would like to), but my guess is that when photographs appear upright in the Finder, the file has been correctly rotated. So I have been trying to rotate them directly from the Finder (right click- automator- rotate photo- ok) but that doesn't work, nothing happens.
Can anyone explain to me how this whole thing works and if there's a logic to it? And if there is a faster way to rotate than to open in photoshop and save?
For reference, I upload the photographs from a Sony Cybershot 12.1 camera by opening it like a harddrive and drag-drop. I do not use iPhoto. Could it have something to do with the way I take the photos from the camera- vertical up or down...?

D.d.HI there Violet, In my camera I have the settings saved to not rotate in camera. Does your camera have that capability? Some do some do not. As far as understanding the rotation.This is based on how you turn your camera when you take the shot. Vertical or Horizontal. That is how it will be displayed in the finder or anywhere else for that matter.
I change rotation right within the I Photo window, it is quicker and easier than opening photoshop to change your aspect ratio. Any edits I make aside from rotating, I do in Photoshop. In I Photo preferences, I have photoshop set as the external editor, this way all changes you make will be depicted within I Photo. You need some type of organizational tool to keep track of your photos, that is what I Photo does so well. Its your database. Ileen

My ipod touch 4 gen is in recovery mode and i dont know how to get out of it,i tried everything like hold the home and top button at the same time. All it did what g to the apple logo and went back to recovery mode any help?
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

How do you change the language to English in Photoshop CS5 after installation is completed? When I installed the program, English was not one of the language options so now everything reads in spanish. I can not read in spanish. Please help!!

I think that this toolbar came with a program which I downloaded called Dictionary Boss. Each time I bring up Firefox this "My Websearch Home Page" come up and replace Google. It seems to me that this websearch thing has become a part of FireFox. I have tried everything including deleted Dictionary Boss and this toolbar will not go away.

You MAY need to change a preference if when typing one or two words in the URL/Location/Address Bar sends you to some search page other than the one you expect. To reset your default URL/location bar search provider:

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?
Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina.That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. I recommend you try to adjust to 29 and see if you can't make it work for you before you downgrade to a less secure and soon outdated version of Firefox.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I have multiple apple ids was backing up everything to iCloud from iPhone 5. I just bought iPhone 6 and perform a iCloud restore. I received a message that all files did not restore. How can I restore apps, files manually?
Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

How can I STOP iTunes from automatically trying to add podcasts to my iPod when I plug it in and sync it, so I can manage the files? I have already unchecked "Sync Podcasts" and "Automatically include,"yet EVERY time I sync it,it still transfers podcasts as the last step, and at other times randomly, when trying to just add some MP3's to a playlist, for example. I can't seem to find any other option to uncheck, and can't find an answer from my so-far internet searching.
erict, you blew me away with that suggestion! It was something so simple I couldnt believe I hadnt thought of it! But in the end it didn't work, which I was really surprised about. On Windows anytime anything was moved itunes was hoplessly lost, but on this mac it still kept up with everything. I tried renaming folders, moving folders, and even renaming moved folders but it still kept trying to import.
I even went as far as deleting EVERYTHING i had moved to the Mac, which didnt really work. It still kept trying to import what wasnt there which made it continue to freeze up. However, after doing this it, the freezing was not nearly as bad. It gave me enough of a break to cancel it through the itunes dialog box at the top of the app. So in the end, thats all I really needed to do, only before I had deleted everything the freezing would not allow me to do it.
So now Im reimporting everything again, only slowly, and only a few Artists at a time. -

You will need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent sync remains on the iPad, not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from it. -

No. Everything was working fine and then it wasn't. I hadn't changed any settings or switched either one off. When the phone stopped working properly I ignored it because I always have my ipad with me but that just sopped working properly and now I am stuffed. I have tried most solutions suggested on here even wiping the ipad clean and re-booting. I did this exactly the same way as when I first got it but still no joy. The same with the phone.
