I'm trying to install adobe acrobat XI pro, the trial version. The Install Download Assist pops up but the program doesn't install. I do see a file named XI Pro, but not a program. It seems the program never completely downloads. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've tried to download the trial version of Acrobat XI pro but it's not working. The time bar is active for the download and indicates that it will take two hours. When I come back, the screen has gone back to the "install free trial here" page. I do see a file for XI Pro, but not a program.

Command-click all of the files you want to delete and don't actually move them to the Trash until you've gone through the entire folder.

Is it possible to save when I use the trial version of Flash Professional CS5?

I downloaded the trial version so I could work on the final project for class but for some reason when I tried to save it my computer froze up. Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.

The trial versions have no restrictions on use and you can save what you create, so it was most likely your computer. Make sure your machine meets meets the minimum requirements.
The harddrive memory is not wasted, it is recoverable when you uninstall. If you are talking about RAM, it is only used when you run the program. The time you say you wasted downloading shouldn't have been necessary... downloading happens without the need for your participation, so you could have let that run by itself while doing something else.

Means the folder you are trying to save to is read only. This is an OS thing about permissions.

In trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Pro from either a purchased DVD or from an Adobe download I get an Error message: Error 1310 and the installation will nor proceed. It asks to verify access to C:\Program Data\Adobe\ Adobe PDF\Distiller\Startup\example.ps. This complete directory is present in my C:\ drive. How do I verify this access and what must be done to successfully install Acrobat X Pro?

Had installed cs4 trial version, then tried to enter serial number, but it was invalid and now I can't seem to reinstall the trial version as I had been using, as it comes up serial number invalid even though I am just asking for a trial basis of 30 days.

does anyone know what to do next so I can continue to use the trial versions of cs4. It appears as I have been kicked out for good because I entered the serial number wrong. If the trial version is indicating it is no longer available and you need to enter the serial number to activate it then that is the end of the trial version for that machine. If you have another machine then that will be one way of getting the trial version running for another trial period.

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.
