I'm trying to purchase Guy Sebastian's (Australia) albums:
"Beautiful Life"
"Closer To The Sun"
"Just As I Am"
"Twenty Ten"
, but I keep getting a link "view in iTunes" which doesn't respond so I can purchase the items thru iTunes.
How can I purchase music that's a few years old?

Guy's older albums have been on other countries' Itunes in the past. I don't know why they come and go. Guy keeps promising to spend more time overseas, releasing and promoting his music. I'm sure they'll all become available again then. You could import CDs, of course, but that becomes expensive. Online, Sanity and JBHiFi in Australia will mail overseas.

If they are the grey discs which came with the iMac, then they will be machine specific and will not work on the MBP anyway. You will need to purchase a retail copy of Snow Leopard from the Apple Store for about $29 and upgrade from that. I presume your MBP is Intel and not G4.

Sorry, but you can't unless and until the content owners who hold the distribution rights for movies, videos and music for Malta license Apple to make them available for sale there. You won't even be able to purchase applications for your iPhone (or get any support, for that matter) until the iPhone is officially released in Malta which has been announced but not specifically scheduled that I've seen.

Okay now this description was pretty vague but it could be a few things. First thing to try. Turn wifi off and then one again and try to connect. If this fails read on.
The second step is to select that network in the wifi settings so you get an expanded menu of it. Follow these steps from the home menu on your ipad... Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Try closing iTunes and reset your iPad. After the iPad starts up, try the download again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I've just (finally) managed to fix this problem today. I checked the Apple Support forums, and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.
I rang the Apple Support line, and the very helpful man (thanks Alan!) talked me through it stage by stage. If you go to the following page on the internet: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376 it takes you through the process. WARNING - it takes a little time!
Basically, the first thing you have to do is go to your Program Files and double click on your iTunes folder. There'll be a number of files with the suffix .dll - you need to move all the .dll files from that folder to your desktop - you can simply click and drag them on the desktop..
Next, uninstall iTunes - go to Control Panel / Add/Rempve Programs and when the list comes up remove iTunes. This will take a few minutes... Then reboot your computer.
Next, go back to Control Panel / Add Remove and Remove - IN THIS ORDER -
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot again!
Next, check in your Program Files that the iTunes folder is completely gone - if it has, great: if it hasn't, right-click on the folder and press Shift and Delete - it will say "Are you sure you want to completely remove the folder "iTunes"? Click on "Yes".
Reboot!
Then go to the iTunes download page and voila! It should download iTunes without any problems... well it did for me.... Good luck!
