I'm trying to record and nothing is happening!
I have my Blue Snowball hooked up to my 2ghz Intel Pro/duo Imac. I have set the Audio record path. I can see a level next to the instrument in the arrange window. I can hear myself through the head/phones. When I try to record, nothing happens. What have I forgotten?

The only problem with that theory, is that he said he was seeing level from the mic on the channel strip. That is, of course, assuming he was actually seeing the mics signal, and not something else...
The one thought that occurs to me, is that there is a "bug" in Logic, where if you have an audio track set to record (record enabled), and then you momentarily click on an audio instrument track, the audio instrument track becomes record enabled, so Logic assumes that you now want to record the audio instrument, and even though the record button on the audio track is enabled, the record connection is disabled.
You need to disable the record button on the audio track, and re-enable it again, so Logic knows you want to record on that track.

The port can fail. Internal boards can fail. Batteries can fail. All with the result that no charging occurs.
You can try Resetting the System Management Controller and you can try Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters.
But usually you will have to take the mac in to a service place for testing. It can get expensive, although occasionally it is not.

About once a month I receive the Software update notice that has failed. How do I find out who/what is trying to update? If I decided I want this update how do I allow it to continue? If I decided I do not want this update how do I stop it and its attempt to update? The only response allowed is "OK". When OK is selected the window goes away and nothing else happens.

Yes your cabinet 10 on the Crediton exchange has already been installed and linked with a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (making it able to provide FTTC fibre broadband) and has been Accepting FTTC orders since December 2013. PCP10 (with it's DSLAM cabinet within 100meters of it) is locate on the junction of Commercial Road and the A3072.
However by the looks of things your are just too far away to obtain a FTTC (VDSL2) connection, meaning FTTC fibre broadband is not available to you.

I can't burn a cd of my own created music. I either get the error 4261, or after "Checking media" the process stops and nothing further happens. Have tried different burn speeds and cds. Have re-installed iTunes.Any suggestions please?
wm0203Sounds like the CD drive died. Luckily they cost next to nothing to replace. Or get an external LaCie instead. I have a dual G4 1.25 and the CD drive was always so anemic I use a LaCie Porsche with it.

I am using iPhone 5 and tried to Erase All Contents and Settings but it is just showing an apple sign on the screen and nothing is happening now for about 3 days now. All it does is eat up my battery and still show apple sign after charging! Help!!!!

I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear what issues you were having that led up to the attempted Erase All, and/or exactly what behavior you are seeing now (restarting, not responding at all, etc). Books are no longer supported with iPhoto '08 (a roughly six yeal old product) - you can purchase an iLife '09 DVD from someplace like Amazon or eBay and install it - iPhoto '09 is still supported this year

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

I click on Rent Movie in my iTunes store app and nothing is happening.
I am trying to rent some movies on my iPhone 3GS. I have the most recent iOS on my phone. I click on Rent Movie and nothing is happening. iTunes isn't asking for my password, nothing in downloads or purchased. I'm not getting any error messages either. Literally nothing is happening. I am awaiting a response from iTunes support but I'm too impatient!
The usual explanation for this is that:
1. You have changed the iTunes preferences so that when importing a song the file is not copied into the iTunes media library - doing so is the default.
2. You have subsequently moved the original file, which iTunes has been using to play your song, and so of course it's lost contact with it.
If 1. is not the case, then the files in the iTunes Library (by default, in (user)/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music) may have been moved, deleted or become corrupted. You should check in that library, but don't start moving files in there about. If this is the case you should delete the songs in the iTunes Music list, not in the Finder, and re-import. -
my autofill stopped working recently. I looked under preferences and all the necessary boxes are checked. When I start to fill out a form, the autofill box comes up, but when I click on it, it turns blue and nothing else happens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.
8. Run Software Update and install any available updates.
