I tried to update my iPod and now it's saying that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. What should I do?

I updated my iTunes and then went to update my iPod to the newer 4.2 version that it kept asking me to and now it says that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. My iPod is now unusbale because the screen on the iPod itself shows that i need to connect it to iTunes, but when I do, there's an error message that pops up telling me that iTunes cannot connect it. Help!! How do I fix this?!

Not for the iPhone. Go to Safari, go to maps.google.com, then add the bookmark to the desktop and you have most of what was in the native Google Maps app.

Your iPhone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it to use it on a different network. Now that you have updated the OS it has relocked to the original carrier. Call AppleCare and give them the serial and model numbers so they can tell you who it is locked to. Then contact that carrier and see if you can get the iPhone unlocked.
