I'm using iTunes Producer and am getting a delivery error:

I'm using iTunes Producer and am getting a delivery error:
ERROR ITMS-3000: "Line 85 column 29: element "data_file" incomplete; missing required element "checksum" at XPath /package/book/assets/asset[2]/data_file"
can anyone please help?
This is a fixed-layout ePub produced in InDesign, if that makes any difference.

On navigating to /Library/Application Support/Adobe, None of these folders are present on your system,
Could you please provide a snapshot for this location.
These folders should get created on Install.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

  • I try to search in itunes store and keep getting a runtime error R6025 - help!

I keep trying to search for music in the itunes store and I get runtime error R6025 then itunes shuts down.  Help!

    Link for the previous fix:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2292
Just an update that I did get the error once after the fix but now seems to have gone away completely. All I did after the error recurred was to add a new desktop shortcut and run as administrator. I then deleted the shortcut and went back to my usual quick access icon in the taskbar.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can you use iTunes match and not get duplicates if you maintain mp3s and aiffs files of the same song in either the same or separate libraries?

I maintain a collection of aiff files and mp3 files of the same music.
Aiff for home listening and Mp3 for my devices.
I can arrange these in the same or seperate libraires.
Will "itunes match" duplicate the songs in the cloud if they in the same or seperate libraies on the same mac?
If not, is anyone aware of how to manage seperate Mp3 and Aiff libraries so as not to get duplicates in itune match?
    All assistance is appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello mracole,
I checked my "purchases" and the 7/19/13 purchases don't show up.  However, the earlier versions from usually several years back...the ones that are Matched...often do show up in my Purchases.  I suspect that somehow those REALLY purchased several year old versions were deleted and redownloaded by me so I could change them to the 256 kbps versions under iTunes Match.  They were probably 128 kbps versions originally when purchased.
Why the earlier versions that were really purchased are now identified as Matched is puzzling.
Why I now have Purchased versions from 7/19/13 is puzzling too...especially since these versions do NOT show up in my purchases.
Calling Apple Support if a good idea unless someone can explain this mystery.  I might even take one of my laptops to the Apple store and show a Genius.
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond, Mr. Luigi

  • I am using itunes 10 and trying to consolidate my files.  I keep getting the error "Copying files failed.  The file name was invalid or too long".  How can I indentify what file is causing this problem or resolve this issue?

I am using itunes 10 and trying to consolidate my files.  I keep getting the error "Copying files failed.  The file name was invalid or too long".  How can I indentify what file is causing this problem or resolve this issue?

    BUMP
Yes, I just get that message. I don't see how I could investigate this problem.
I didn't mention that this happened when I was consolidating my library, not copying files to another computer.
In other words, I'm using a "normal" itunes procedure, itunes won't complete it, and won't tell me exactly why or how to figure out how to fix it...
Is there at least some easy way to tell which files were successfully copied to my itunes music folder so I can work on moving the uncopied files?
    Can anybody help me?

Fixed! (win7 64 bit)! Just stop your antivirus during the upgrade/installation (I've got Kaspersky).
    Good luck!

You need to contact iTunes support and send an email by following the link I posted.
    Simply going there does nothing.

In most countries with a lot of movies yes you can, just like how iCloud works with apps/music

  • HT1349 hi, i am trying to enable my sons disabled ipod touch after he changed the passcode and forgot about it. I can get it into dfu mode but when im trying to restore it using itunes it keeps tripping out with an error message saying could not be restor

    hi
my son has disabled his ipod touch and has forgotton the pass code, i have followed all the websites and got it into dfu mode but when itunes is restoring it back to its factory settings it is telling me that there are about 35 hours to go and then an error message comes up saying a problem with uploading and that my network isnt working (which is wrong) and to try again......donr this about 10 times now and everytime get the same error message......any help would be much appreciated
    cheers
    Paul

Ask him if he has 'jailbroken' the ipod touch. Some jailbreaking firmware resets it to Ipad firmware and so it is very difficult to restore as itunes simply doesnt recognise it for what it is. It's Apple's solution to try and stop mass jailbreaking.

  • I just installed Itunes on Windows7 x64 and I get the following error...

I just installed Itunes on Windows7 x64 and I get the following error when trying to open it. "Itunes cannot run because it detects a problem with Quicktime. For repair instructions click Help."  When I do this all it pretty much tells me to do is reinstall which doesn't really do anything at all. Another method mentioned is to download quicktime as a stand alone installer and isntall that version again to no avail. I have no idea what to do. Thanks for your help. I can provide any information needed upon request.  And yes I have uninstlaled completely restarted then reinstalled only to get the error again.

    Good lord.
    Right. Presumably either this one:
    ... or this one:
... is at the heart of matters. The second one is the more familiar one. So we'll assume (to begin with) that the first one is a rare complication of the sort of install trouble that can produce the second one.
Rather than using Revo, I'd like to try using the Windows Installer CleanUp utility to clear the installation configuration information for your Apple Software Update. Unfortunately, doing so has become more difficult
ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove". Quit CleanUp.
Now try uninstalling (again without using Revo) iTunes and QuickTime. If those uninstalls seem to go through okay, restart the PC.
Now try the iTunes reinstall again. Does it hang with that "required module" error again? or does it install smoothly this time?

  • My iTunes will not start.  The box on the error message APSDaemon.exe,  And message says "This application failed to start because MSVC80.dll was not found.  Reinstalling may fix."  I did the reinstall and I get the same error.

My iTunes will not start.  The box on the error message APSDaemon.exe,  And message says "This application failed to start because MSVC80.dll was not found.  Reinstalling may fix."  I did the reinstall and I get the same error.  The error first happened after I approved the an iTurns update.

Same problem today. Took five times to reinstall without any error messages. Apple has posted a way to fix and you should follow their's first. I finally got to upldate correctly by doing their fix but with one difference. I did the following:
    1) Went to the C:\program files (x86)\iTunes and C:\program files\iTunes folders and moved every file ending in .dll to the desktop (even if two files in same location had the same name, just replace)
    2) Restarted computer and still got error message
    3) Uninstalled all apple programs possible in the following order......itunes, apples software update, apple mobile device support, bonjour, and apple application support.....all performed using the microsoft control panel
    4) put all the .dll files on the desktop in the trash and emptied (this is a step apple support did not specifically put in their fix but for a final try I wanted to delete everything apple).
    5) Restarted computer.
    6) Re-installed itunes from apple website
No error messages during re-install and was able to open shortcut in one try. Even updated my ipad to make sure everything was working.

Trying to sync my iPod with iTunes and I am getting this message:"This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the ipod"...  I have deauthorized and reauthorized the account and still getting the same error.  I have read and followed the instructions in the support article TS1389.  I do NOT have an SC info folder at /Users/Shared/ directory to delete.
I just installed Lion yesterday, and am running iTunes 10.4.   First attempt to sync since upgrade.
    Thanks

    Yup,
Me too...this is stupid, stupid, stupid. Just purchased my 200 (ish) mac and now I am told that my new Mac Book pro is not "authorized".
Which if my 200 macs are authorized. Can someone please tell me???
I "deauthorized" my old MBP and still told I cannot use my iPhone with iTunes.
Interesting that my old $2500 MBP, my new $3000 MBP and my $500 iPhone all cannot work cuz of some pinhead's decision to use this assorization process.
Yes I am very, very, very mad.

  • I am trying to load iTunes and keep getting a error 126 and reinstall program.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and keep getting the same error message.  How can this be resolved.

I am trying to load iTunes and keep getting a error 126 and reinstall program.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and keep getting the same error message.  How can this be resolved?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
